Finished the general joinery course today after a fantastic couple of weeks. Phil is a great guy and an excellent teacher. Highly recommend to anyone who???s interested in giving joinery a go. I learned a lot that I???ll be able to utilise on jobs in the future. 10/10

From day one, the instructors were knowledgeable, approachable, and clearly passionate about their craft. The facility was very tidy and enjoyable to work in. What really stood out to me was how modern the techniques and tools where compared to what I was expecting. This made the experience so much more fun and easy to learn. I recently took the Hand & Power Tool Training course at the School of Carpentry in St Helens and was genuinely impressed. The course was well-structured, hands-on, and pitched at just the right level for both beginners and those with a bit of experience. The instructors were friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly encouraging throughout, creating a relaxed and supportive environment that made it easy to ask questions and build confidence. By the end of the day, I felt much more capable and comfortable using a wide range of tools safely and effectively.
