I had an outstanding experience at the School of Carpentry and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to build or refine their skills in the craft. From the very first day, the program exceeded my expectations with its well-structured curriculum, high-quality materials, and professional learning environment. The instructors are clearly passionate about carpentry and dedicated to student success. A special thank you goes to Philip, our instructor, whose expertise, patience, and encouraging teaching style made all the difference. Philip has a remarkable ability to explain complex techniques in a clear and practical way, while also challenging us to push our skills further. His constructive feedback, attention to detail, and genuine enthusiasm for the trade created a supportive atmosphere where every student felt valued and motivated to improve. Thanks to Philip???s guidance, I gained not only technical proficiency but also a deeper appreciation for the art and precision of carpentry. The hands-on projects were both challenging and immensely rewarding, and I left the program feeling confident and well-prepared for my next steps in the field. If you???re considering a joinery program, I can???t recommend the School of Carpentry highly enough ??? especially if you have the opportunity to learn from Philip. It was truly a worthwhile investment in my skills and future.

I recently done the general joinery course at School Of Carpentry, and I can???t recommend it enough. From day one, the instructors were knowledgeable, approachable, and clearly passionate about their craft. The facility was very tidy and enjoyable to work in. What really stood out to me was how modern the techniques and tools where compared to what I was expecting. This made the experience so much more fun and easy to learn. I left feeling more confident, capable, and inspired to do some joinery work. Thanks lads ????

I recently took the Hand & Power Tool Training course at the School of Carpentry in St Helens and was genuinely impressed. The course was well-structured, hands-on, and pitched at just the right level for both beginners and those with a bit of experience. The instructors were friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly encouraging throughout, creating a relaxed and supportive environment that made it easy to ask questions and build confidence. By the end of the day, I felt much more capable and comfortable using a wide range of tools safely and effectively. I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking to get practical skills in a welcoming, no-pressure setting. Thanks Again Guys!
