Excellent advice, repairs and communications from Alex at AW Roofing. Clear photos and explanation of work completed and a fair invoice for the work done. Recommended.

I’m so glad I found Alex (A.W Roofing) on Google when sorting out a full re-roofing for my mum and I highly recommend him. From start to finish Alex was easy to communicate with and honest which saved us a considerable amount of money as he noted that the guttering just needed a deep clean rather than replacing. He also went above and beyond by kindly taking care of some cracks in the rendering while the scaffolding was up. He’s competitively priced and offers peace of mind with no upfront payment and a 15-year guarantee which reflects the high quality workmanship he’s willing to stand behind. The A.W team were hardworking and their mastery of the trade was evident with their attention to detail ~ the photos speak for themselves. They cleaned up daily and removed waste promptly. Even the contracted scaffolders (AStar Access) were great. Alex took the stress out of what felt like a daunting task. If you’re looking for a skilled, trustworthy roofer at a fair price then call A.W Roofing. I wish him and his team all the best. Thank you for the great job and for the peace of mind that the roof is as durable and functional as it is beautiful.

Had a leak during the heavy rain in January, which turned out to be a failed valley. Alex at A.W Roofing replaced it with a new lead valley and carried out slate repairs. Really pleased with the work, neat, solid finish and no issues since, even in bad weather. Fair price, no upfront payment, and everything (including scaffolding and cleanup) was handled smoothly. Would definitely recommend 👍

We had AW Roofing come to fix several missing slate tiles on our roof, all new guttering, cap the fascias and soffits, and reline the lead roofs. From start to finish, the service was excellent. Their communication throughout the whole process was amazing. They kept me updated at every stage and offered helpful advice, so I could understand exactly what was being done. The work itself was completed to a very high standard and would recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, skilled roofing work.

A.W Roofing – Honest, Skilled, and Truly Exceptional Finding a trustworthy roofer can be daunting, but discovering A.W Roofing was a game changer. From the moment Alex arrived to assess my flat roof, I knew I was dealing with someone special. He was punctual, respectful, and clearly committed to doing things the right way. His quote was lower than others I’d received not because he cuts corners, but because he believes in fair pricing and a positive work ethic. As Alex told me: “So long as I charge a genuine price for the work, enough to cover all of the bills and continue working, I’m happy.” The entire process from scaffolding to roofing to final render was handled with professionalism and care. Every team member was polite, tidy, safety-conscious, and considerate of my property. No loud music [you know the kind], no mess just quiet, focused workmanship and clear communication throughout, truly professional. Alex didn’t ask for payment upfront, only once the job is complete and the site is spotless. I’ve already booked him for two more jobs, which says everything about his integrity and quality of work. He’s in high demand, so expect a short wait but trust me, it’s well worth it. A.W Roofing is a rare find and I recommend them without hesitation. Thank you Alex & team.
