   Fantastic experience from start to finish. We had several people look at the job (replacing my Mum’s flat roof at the back of the house) and John instilled the greatest confidence of them all…by a country mile. Very friendly and professional. When my Mum asked if he thought the old garage roof (asbestos) also needed replacing, he said “is it dry inside? Any leaks etc?” She said no, he said “then no, save your money”! Many others would likely have seen an opportunity to take advantage of the situation, particularly with an elderly person living on their own. John gave a very fair quote, and said he could squeeze this ‘small job’ in the same week. Two of his crew, Michael & Dale, cheery and polite, arrived at 8am, worked their socks off through the heat, and were done by 2.30pm. They left no mess and did a superb job of replacing the roof and fascias. My Mum and I recommend John and Roman Roofing without any hesitation - they are without doubt ‘one of the Good Ones’.

   Absolutely worth it. Roman Roofing is an excellent company that delivers on its promises. We recently had a new pitched slate roof and a flat felt roof installed, and we are very happy with the results. The 15-year warranty also provides great peace of mind. There was a minor issue with the flat roof, as some nails penetrated the timber underneath amd came through the ceiling. It will require some additional work, but given that our house is over 100 years old, these kinds of challenges can understandably arise during a project of this nature. While I would have preferred to have the issue resolved immediately, it does not detract from the overall quality of the work or the professionalism of the company. I still believe they deserve a five-star rating. I would simply suggest that future customers be made aware that unexpected complications can occur, particularly with older properties. Overall, we are extremely satisfied with the service and workmanship, and I would not hesitate to recommend Roman Roofing.

   We encountered Roman Roofing through a work connection. The service provided was excellent from start to finish. The customer service was great and the initial problem with our roof was diagnosed and explained very quickly and clearly. When work began, the gentlemen working on our roof were courteous and polite and were even happy to work at the weekend in order to get the job done before the weather turned. Overall, they did an excellent job and I would recommend this company to anyone in need of a partial repair or a full roof replacement. Our roof also needed a chimney taken out and additional guttering, fascia’s and soffits. Roman Roofing were capable of all of these tasks.

   I called Roman roofing (after recommendation) when I realised that the flat part of my roof was leaking. John came round really quick and gave me a quote and some advise on other areas of my roof. I went ahead with the work to repair the flat area and the boys turned up early morning and got the job done in good time. They were courteous, tidy, and did a great job. Thanks chaps.
