I have never felt compelled to leave a review before but the staff here were so utterly rude from the second we walked in. Demanding, hurrying our order, and angry that people in our party wanted to make separate orders and payments despite the bar being empty. Customer service was appalling. Will not be returning ever again which is a shame because they have a great range of beers and the pub itself is lovely.

I work in hospitality and I would never normally leave a review about someone but the barmaid is genuinely the rudest person i???ve ever been served by, seemed so inconvenienced by anything and really unfriendly constantly on her phone.

I visited the other day Great vibes, nice atmosphere, was served by Beth and Jake who were lovely! It???s one of the nicer pubs in Canterbury with reasonable prices :) Would definitely return

Had a brilliant visit to The Carpenters Arms, largely thanks to Beth. She was warm, professional, and really on the ball throughout our time there. The service felt effortless and welcoming, and she clearly takes pride in what she does. It made the whole experience that much better. A great pub with even better service ??? we???ll definitely be back.

Newly refurbished with some quirky decor. Sport always on and friendly for watching football ??????. Two pool tables in good condition. Some outdoor seating too. Bar staff are good.
