Fabulous service sorry I don't know the name of the lovely man who sorted out our brocken door lock. He kept us fully informed of when he was arriving. the price was ok he also didn't hard sell just gave us advice and we decided what to have. Would certainly recommend Halifax lock and key.

I contacted Halifax Lock and Key after our front door lock broke. The call was answered promptly and I was provided with a quotation and estimated time of arrival. The lock was replaced in less than 10 minutes and the whole interaction with the company was less than 2 hours. Very polite and professional.

After getting locked in my lounge on a Saturday evening with a faulty handle and my outside door being locked with the key left in the lock so no one could get in to help me. After trying for 30 minutes to fix the handle I called Halifaxlockandkey.co.uk. I spoke to a nice friendly guy, explained my problem and he didn???t hesitate to say he would come out, even though it was 9.30pm. He arrived 30 minutes later. Took my window out, climbed in. Managed to open the lounge door with a special tool and even replaced the faulty mechanism. Such a nice efficient and friendly guy. I would definitely recommend this Company if you have any lock problems etc. Thank you .

Ripp off After james came to me today he aligned my door and sprayed a lubricant this fixed the difficulty in locking it. (This was a bit overpriced but done alright). He then lied to me trying to upsell me saying the door needs a new lcoking mechanism and the old one is worn i was quoted ??290 for this and i was worned the mechanism has 1 year left before it degreades. After finding a cheaper price from another locksmith in Halifax he told me the lock mechanism was perfectly fine he actually quoted me ??180 for replacing this which was very reasonable a winkhaus mechanism costs ??125.0 and ??55 for labour was very fair. James lied to me trying to ripp me off ??290 (taking home a ??165 profit off me) but fortunately his upselling with caught before any damage happened Do not do buisness with them i intially thought the job was decent but the persons lack of honesty has lost me. Always go elsewhere. We are not rich people who can afford to lose money like this.

?????????????????????????????? 5-Star Review Had an absolute nightmare after a cowboy locksmith bodged my door and left it unusable. Terry from Lock and Key Yorkshire came out and saved the day. He replaced the cylinder and handle properly, quickly, and without any of the nonsense I???d just dealt with. Professional, genuine, and clearly knows his craft. He talked me through what he was doing, showed me exactly what the previous guy messed up, and had the door working better than it ever did. Fair price, no drama, no hidden extras ??? just solid, honest work. If you need a locksmith you can trust, Terry???s your man. Absolute top service.
