Can't recommend this company highly enough. Problem with water heating system which Steve sorted promptly and without any fuss - he was very friendly, helpful and efficient and the lady who dealt with my request initially was also very helpful. Cost very reasonable. Highly recommend.

A shining star in the dark sky of customer service! Hyperbole? Not really. I intended to review after installation of my new boiler a year ago. We have a complicated system and our boiler was 30+ years old. SEP was recommended to us by our service engineer who was no longer taking on full boiler installations. Mike, the company owner came to survey and discuss options. He was enormously helpful answering my many questions. A quote/estimate arrived promptly. Mike was very patient in answering further questions and further decisions were made with his great advice, resulting in 2 updated estimates. Barrie and Henry arrived promptly on the due date. It was a pleasure to have them in our home. They also were very patient in answering my questions and curiosity. Mike himself came along to see how they were doing and how certain issues were to be dealt with, and changes were made to the system. The final bill still matched the updated estimate. I couldn't be happier with the recommendation from our service engineer and the service provided by SEP. The 1st annual service has just been completed by Christian. Very thorough, stripping the boiler down and identifying and resolving problems with the radiator thermostats. Such a contrast with the servicing provided under a national company insurance plan. Usually reluctant to make recommendations of any service companies, I can wholeheartedly recommend SEP for great installation and customer service.

I got recommended SEP ltd by my neighbor to do a boiler and radiator changes. They saved me over ??2500 if I had gone ahead with quotes from other companies. They are a bunch of super friendly people, very kind and accommodating. I can not thank them enough ????????

In 2024 I contacted SEP to get the boiler in the house I was in the process of buying serviced. It took a while for them to understand that I was not in the house yet and I was told it was an 'unusual request'. I found this hard to believe it was the first time they had a customer servicing a boiler for the house they were about to purchase, but I needed it done quickly and they got it done. I hired them again in Nov 2025 to service the boiler and told the engineers that it was losing pressure very quickly but there were no leaks in the radiators or pipes. They serviced the boiler, checked for leaks and explained what they had done very well and clearly, but unfortunately after the service I then had to top up the pressure every day. I contacted SEP again to have someone come look at it again, and they quickly called and sorted it out for me. The customer service on the phone was great and they were very kind. The engineer who came, Richard, recommended I replace the boiler and said he would send me some quotes, then before he left, suggested I discuss it further with 'Dad...or Santa'. I'm the sole homeowner, and I can't imagine the engineer saying this to his other customers, particularly a male homeowner. They then charged me another ??72 for that, but they did replace the external filling loop to make it easier for me to top the pressure up. Somehow at age 30, without any help from a parent or a fictional figure, I got a cheaper quote for a better boiler from a different company who didn't make any such remarks, so I will be using them instead.

Excellent job mending our gas boiler and repairing a dysfunctional floor level heater. Ollie was very competent, helpful, informative, professional, friendly and polite. A delight! Welcome back any time we need a job doing.
