   Joseph has helped many times previously with a rental properties. Not only does he always sort the issue (unblocking drains), but he takes the time to explain to tenants how they can avoid this in the future. His prices were reasonable and I know I can trust him to sort the issue He has helped me over the phone with a blockage I had at home. Sent him photos and then he offered me valuable advice which sorted the issue. His advice is spot on. Highly recommend him.

   I hired Josef to install a new radiator in a bathroom where the pipework was set into the wall. Unfortunately, the job was very poorly done. The radiator moved where there was so much damage to the wall he was unable to get a good fixing at the bottom. There was also damage to the plaster behind by him over tightening to try and get a secure fixing. He used a hammer only to create the hole with no other tools to minimise damage, so no wonder he had problems with the Victorian wall!! The radiator valve, which cost ??120, was also damaged during installation on both nuts, I can only assume he didn???t use any protection when tightening, stripping the paint in the process. When I tried to speak about how to fix the plaster behind and suggested we remove the radiator to repair the wall properly and fit it more securely, the response was dismissive and aggressive. I was told the damage was due to the wall, not the installation. He also said it was up to a painter and decorator to somehow get behind it to fix the plaster. Due to the aggressive tone and unwillingness to address the issues, I felt very uncomfortable and asked him to leave. As a lone female, this was a particularly unpleasant experience which lacked professionalism. He also made a total mess in my bathroom as didn???t use anything to protect the floor. After he left he also blocked me on WhatsApp, says it all really. Edit in reply to Josefs reply. This is the 3rd Victorian home I???ve renovated and I was paying Josef ??50 (the price he quoted) to come back the 2nd time and fix the hole he had made. What he was upset about was that I was not happy that the bottom brackets had so much movement and it was only the top brackets supporting the rad. I asked him to take the radiator off so we could fix the wall and have all brackets secure as any professional would. A mark of a good trades men is how they react when things don???t go well and he obviously was not happy he would have to do more work to have the radiator fixed securely. The pictures don???t lie and making holes in walls by hitting them with a hammer, really?!? Anyway I hired a professional plumber who removed the radiator, fixed the wall and reattached with no drama involved. Pay for what you get really.

   Josef came out to help with a plumbing issue and I couldn???t be more impressed. He was able to see me the very same day and quickly fixed a problem that had been caused by a builder. What really stood out was his depth of knowledge and professionalism it was clear straight away that he knows exactly what he is doing. It just goes to show how important it is to have the right expertise, especially when dealing with renovation work. I will definitely be using Josef for any future plumbing needs and would highly recommend him to friends and family.
