Martin is a good electrician with reasonable rates and able to work around my shift pattern. He has done a great job and we intend to use him again in future

Martin responded very quickly to our home losing its electrics and despite being very busy visited within 24hrs. Martin was able to identify a tricky problem and solved it for us. Reconnected our boiler to a different 'Ring' and then installed new wiring to our garage. Very reasonable price for great workmanship. Martin was recommended to us by another customer and we were really pleased to find such a trustworthy, professional electrician.

Martin has completed several jobs for me, the most recent a few days ago. He has always been very polite, helpful and his charges very fair and transparent. I would highly recommend him.

Martin installed some downlights and bathroom appliances for us and did a fantastic job. Was very friendly, polite & reasonably priced for a great service. Thank you.

I've unfortunately had to downgrade my review of Martin's work to rewire the upstairs of our property as we uncovered more of his work under the floorboards and in the loft. Unfortunately we've found that Martin's work has been consistently rushed and done with little attention to detail. We had a few problems when he did the first fix but he came back and sorted most of it and there were again a couple of snags (socket plates not level with walls, not screwed in ok, etc) but we put these down to it being a wonky 60s house that's difficult to work with. Unfortunately when we redid our heating system we discovered that Martin had rushed other things as well such as laying the electrical cables underneath heating pipework instead of creating new channels in the beams and as a result, a lot of the cabling was crushed and would probably have deteriorated faster as a result of being next to hot water pipes. Going up into the loft revealed further rushed work, cables not clamped down well, different size screws used on the light fixtures poking up into the loft space and so on. To his credit, Martin was always polite, responsive, showed up on time and finished the work on schedule which is why we gave him a shining review initially. I still wouldn't say any of Martin's work was unsafe as such but it was definitely very rushed and untidy and to be honest when all is said and done and considering the amount paid, just subpar. Even though he's a perfectly nice guy I don't think we shall be using his services in the future.
