Thank you very much for the Vailant EcoTECplus boiler Alister installed at the house I have rented for many years. It's proving to be excellent at heating radiators and water system. Easy to adjust temperature and turn on and off from the remote or on the boiler itself. Very quiet. A 2 day job, but well worth it. He left it all so clean too. Just a small ask. Could you reinstate the tap used for watering my garden plants in hot weather? Our summers are getting so much hotter now! Kind regards PB.

We had a boiler breakdown late one Saturday evening during December 2022 cold snap. Many local heating engineers falsely advertise a 24/7 'Emergency Service' - text or call and no one answers, if they do it's often much later and with bad news, they simply don't want the work. Dave and K S Engineering are different - they were prompt at picking up the phone late on the Saturday evening, kindly tried to talk me through a fix over the phone (free) before kindly coming out. Dave arrived when he said he would, was tidy, courteous and had good chat. Problem sorted and heating back on within the hour and briefly cast his eye over other issues before going on to his next job. A proper out-of-hours service. We'll use them for planned works in due course having tried multiple other Exeter firms in recent year. Cheers!

Wish we'd read the reviews here, as completely agree with previous review: the engineers are friendly, but KS Engineering's pricing and invoicing is completely arbitrary. We were sent an invoice with their business rates clearly described, but total labour costs were completely unrelated to these rates (and considerably higher!). Since querying the costs, the explanation was that the rates on the invoice are incorrect (last years) but also for a completely different kind of job! We've asked for a corrected invoice, however apparently the invoice cannot be changed to reflect the rates that apply to this work. It doesn't feel very transparent and honest, and I don't feel comfortable using this company again. The engineers left multiple dirty hand-print marks on our walls. When we pointed this out, they apologised and washed their hands. Unfortunately, the marks haven't wiped clean and we've had to re-paint. Both engineers wore face masks throughout the job, which was reassuring, and were friendly and otherwise professional.

Im not sure which KS Engineering the previous user experienced, but the ones we have used over the past five years here in Exeter have been outstanding. Im writing this review as we have recently had a problem with our boiler after a service, and KS worked relentlessly over a couple of days to find and fix the problem. Their staff are and remain extremely friendly, go out of their way to help out (heaters and blankets because the heating didn't work), working late to fix the problem at a low cost (not the ??300 flat fee Worcester wanted). I cant recommend them enough, they're local they're friendly and efficient and that remains a constant.

I cannot say enough times how brilliant these guys are. Whenever we have had problems with our boiler (oil fired)/shower/oil tank etc, these guys have always attempted to fix the issue (nearly always successfully) that day. This week we ran out of fuel (having been let down by our supplier) and, on learning that we would receive fuel (from a new supplier) today, I telephoned KS to ask if they could come and fix the boiler once the fuel was in. They advised how to attempt to try to fix the boiler ourselves (saving us money) but alas we couldn???t. Within 1.5 hours of my call they had been, fixed the boiler, and gone. Amazing. So lovely to have such good service from a company in a world full of companies who don???t seem to care. Thank you.
