Great service from Paul Y and Ryan today. Let mw know when they were arriving and done the job (fixed heating element in my oven) in a matter of minutes. Really lovely and polite as well which is a bonus. Thank you guys.

I called Go Assist out to repair the ice maker on my Hisense fridge river. They were terrific. Prior to calling them I???d spoken to Hisense customer service repairs team who were absolutely awful. It was like the Spanish Inquisition. The man I spoke to was brusque, obstructive and charmless. It wasn???t a conversation, it was like an aggressive cross-examination and he was clearly only interested in finding a reason NOT to send an engineer out. Never again ! Thank goodness then for Go Assist and Paul Y who was the terrific engineer who came out to mend my ice machine. Lovely chap. Very helpful. Super polite. Great service. Job done. All within 24hrs of calling them. They have restored my faith in customer service. Go assist will remain my first port of call for ALL my appliances.

Paul came to fix my range oven - where we had 3 different faults. Unfortunately the first set of parts didnt fit and it was ridiculously difficult to access the front of the oven. He persevered and after many hours working on it (very calmly) and on the second return visit it's all working. Repairs arent always straightforward but Paul was calm, diligent and got it fixed in the end and has saved me buying an expensive new oven.

Ken called before hand to tell me what time he was coming, arrived at that time. Within minutes had diagnosed the issue with my dishwasher. Had the part on the van, repaired it there and then. Knowledgable and skilled at what he does. Very cheerful guy!

I would strongly advise people not to use this company. I used them a year ago to book someone to fix my oven. This aspect went smoothly enough but I noticed that much of the interaction with the Go Assist person on the phone was focussed on getting me to sign up to a scheme where I paid them monthly for cheaper call out rates. I said no to this, I just wanted a one off call out from an oven technician. Fast forward to today and I get a message from my bank about suspected fraudulent behaviour on my account. Someone has tried to take ??89.99 from my account using my debit card. I call my bank and find out this is Go Assist. It turns out they have put me on the monthly scheme with a 'year's free subscription' and now a year later are trying to start taking the monthly payments from my account. I had definitely not agreed to this. I had not signed any direct debit agreements with them. This, to me, is bordering on fraudulent behaviour from Go Assist and I fear they have pulled the same scam on other unsuspecting customers. If you have used Go Assist in the past I suggest you check you bank statements to check that no monthly payments are going out to them, and I would advise anyone not to use them in the future.
