Simon did an amazing job with his apprentice Harry, great conduct, very polite and respectful workers. Went well, job done properly for new boiler fitting and water pressure fix, and cleaned up after themselves too.

We had a Greenstar 4000 installed with PHS Ltd and cannot praise them enough. From the survey carried out by Joe to the install, led by Luke with Harry, the experience was as described on the tin, professional! Curtious, knowledgeable, tidy and punctual, combined with an appropriate price point, we would have no hesitation in recommending PHS Ltd and will be contacting them for the annual boiler checks.

Reading Professional Heating Services showed a shocking lack of urgency, professionalism and basic human decency. The problem was not dealt with when it should have been. It was only picked up 5 days later, on a Tuesday, after a further call, and when someone finally attended, they did not repair the shower. They simply inspected it and said approval would be needed before any actual work could be done. In other words, more delay, more inconvenience and more passing the problem around. In the meantime, we had our son's funeral the next day but even in the face of bereavement, there was no urgency and no compassion. Two days later, since I hadn't heard from them, I contacted them directly, and the receptionist said she would check and let me know. After three hours, I had to call again and the response was dismissive and unapologetic. I was told they had many other jobs on, as though that somehow excused leaving a grieving family without a working shower. That kind of response is not just unprofessional. It is callous. And yes, I insulted her on the phone, but it was not enough. A company trusted with essential repairs should know how to act when people are in vulnerable situations. Reading Professional Heating Services clearly do not. UPDATE (17/03/26): The repair was then booked for today, 17/03/26, and we even received a confirmation message. Nobody showed up. FINAL UPDATE (27/03/26) before leaving this house: On Monday 23/03/26, a Parker agent called to inform that Professional Heating Services Ltd would not return to repair the shower unless I removed this review. I found that deeply inappropriate. By that stage, the issue had already dragged on for weeks, and instead of fixing it, the focus seemed to be on getting the review taken down. I made it clear that I would rather remain without a shower for another week, nearly a month in total, than be pressured into removing an honest account of what happened. That alone says a great deal. In memory of my son, I will not remove this review.
