   I had a problem with a ridge mounted flue terminal. The tile below was loose and the mortar fillet under the terminal had fallen away leaving a great big gap where the rain came blowing in (four buckets in loft to try to catch it all). Rick came round to survey the job and provide a quotation which was quite reasonable. Scaffolding expertly erected by Eric and Richard which allowed Mark and Lewis safe access to do the repair. The guys explained what had happened, how they were going to fix it and just got on with the repair. Showed me a photo of what they had done as I don't go on roofs any more!! Guys knew what they were doing, so I have complete confidence in the work. I would definitely use Dunns again.

   Alfie and his team did a complete re-roof of my large detached 1924 house, which had ancient felt, rotten battens and clay tiles that fell like rain in the wind. Unlike other companies I had approached, they were able to re-use most of the tiles and source replacements, rather than go for a concrete option (quotes for which were considerably higher) Some of the fascia and wooden roof boards were rotten, and they replaced these as well as failing guttering. They installed trays for ‘in roof’ solar panels, and sorted problems as they found them without fuss and at a very fair cost. The result is better looking than the original, as well as being now structurally sound. Alfie even found a reclaimed scroll filial to go at the end of the gable roof. The team were respectful, cheerful and very hard working. It was a pleasure to have them around - not something I anticipated.

   Alfie and his team removed and replaced our old fibreglass flat roof and transformed the space into an inviting, safer area with the addition of new EPDM roof, wooden and stainless steel wire fence and rubber floor tiles. They worked quickly and efficiently and all the work was completed to a high standard and the area was left clean and tidy.
