Chris and his team take an exceptionally professional attitude towards their work. This is now the second project that they have undertaken for me and, I am pleased to say, I am as delighted with this work (which included a new patio, driveway and brickwork path) as I was with the previous work they undertook for me. The communication was excellent and highly collaborative allowing me choice all the way along in this project. Additionally, their pricing was very fair too. I had shopped around and they were competitive. I would not hesitate to recommend them any time as their workmanship is of an excellent quality. Thank you gents once again!! 👍

TLDR - Great builders. 10/10. We needed a building company to help us with structural works on an old lime mortar wall. This involved liaising with the local council, closing a footpath and a bus stop before erecting scaffolding. This also needed a contractor that could carefully manage external stakeholders such as our neighbours and businesses nearby who needed access to a slip road close to the wall that was being repaired. Chris is a knowledgeable and personable builder who liaised with all of these stakeholders to keep them informed and happy while it works took place. Fortify Construction carefully demolished the time expired line mortar wall, before structural reinforcements were put in place and then their bricklayers reconstructed the wall, again using line mortar. Finally, the wall was expertly rendered. Over the years we've employed a number of builders of varying quality. Chris and his team at Fortify Construction were the best by far. I would contract them again in a heartbeat. Excellent work, knowledgeable, polite communication, transparent billing, efficient, attentive and good value for money. All in all stress free and highly recommended.10/10.

We employed Chris and the team for repointing and remedial work on our converted oasthouse recently. From the moment Chris got in touch to come around and quote, through to the final sign off on the last day of work, I was so impressed by the team's professionalism, expertise and thorough communication throughout. It felt like we were working in partnership to ensure the right works were carried out to obtain the best outcome, with Chris listening to our specific issues and concerns before proposing the best way forwards with his expert eyes. 100% recommend!

We recently had the pleasure of having the Fortify Construction team on a project to build a large traditional brick walled garden, and I am absolutely delighted with the outcome. From start to finish, the team at Fortify Construction demonstrated professionalism, expertise, and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results. Throughout the project, the communication and collaboration with the Fortify Construction team were exceptional. They listened attentively to our ideas, provided valuable insights, helped us choose the bricks and ensured that our vision was brought to life. Their expertise and knowledge of the construction industry was evident, and they offered helpful suggestions that enhanced the overall design and functionality of the garden, including beautiful brick arches and the mortar pointing style. We wouldn’t hesitate to use you again in the future.
