If you have been trying to get your project done for months or even years then don’t give up until you have given SG Construction a call. They will be honest about whether they want to do the job from the start which is quite unique in itself. If you proceed with them they are reliable, polite, friendly and work incredibly hard. Work is a great standard of course but the biggest thing for me was that Steve, even after many years trading, seems to think “What is it like for the customer living in this work once we’ve gone home for the day?” and really tries to make the disruption as minimal as possible. The care and cleanliness is mentioned in lots of others reviews but it does make a big difference. Many thanks Steve, Tino and Charlie! All the best Mike.

We chose SG Construction for our garage conversion project because the quote was very competitive and they could handle and co-ordinate all aspects of the build, including Building Regs. Communication with us was good, so we were always kept in the picture about current progress, so any problems or glitches could be promptly addressed. All of the specialist trades were friendly and professional. Mark from SG was on site daily, providing continuity throughout the job, consulting with us where necessary, and was a genuinely nice person to have around. The project came in on time and we are happy with the results.

Steve was an excellent project manager, working alongside his skilled core team. He also used his regular team of subcontractors, who were all excellent. Steve provided a full service, including structural engineer and Building Control. His communications with us were frequent and kept us fully informed throughout our project to reorder internally, including fitting a new kitchen and bathroom and also installing a new flat roof.

We had a leak in our dormer roof. Steve and Ryan were brilliant. They cleaned, relaminated and then fixed the damage to the internal part of the roof/ceiling. The service was efficient and kept us updated throughout the process.

Steve and his team were amazing! This wasn’t an easy job, but they did an amazing. The team were very dedicated and kept me informed the whole way through. We were really able to work together around any obstacles that came up. The bathroom looks amazing and I can’t thank them enough. They were very tidy and we’re careful not to cause disruption as I was working from home. Can’t recommend SG construction enough and I will not use anyone else in the future. Great job
