Jim and his team built our large double storey extension and we couldn’t be happier. It took the team just 7 months from beginning to end. Jim took care of everything making the building process far less stressful than we’d expected. The team are all so friendly and as we lived on site, they were very respectful. Jim also gave some great suggestions which we now couldn’t live without. We couldn’t recommend TW Builders more!

Jim and the team completed a garage conversion for us at our home in Tonbridge. They also installed lintels over windows and doorways for us, and installed insulated plaster board in the bedrooms. The conversion included a full utilities upgrade in a new location (Daryl is great) and removal of the old system. The quote and schedule were spot on, no surprises and competitive (I got a lot of quotes!). The whole team were excellent with quality workmanship, were great with our kids, polite, tidy and really hard working. Brickwork is a great match to the original house, and the team were excellent at keeping is informed, seeking our input and working out good solutions as the old house threw a couple of curve balls. We're really happy and would highly recommend Tunbridge Wells Builders; we'd definitely use them again.

TWB undertook an extension and refurbishment of our family home during 2024. The extension was a modern pavilion design flooded with natural light and the refurbishment involved replacing all glazing, plumbing (inc. installing UFH and an ASHP), moving bathrooms and changing the internal layout to better suit how we want to live as a family. This was a significant undertaking that took c.10 months to complete. For most of us work on our home is one of the most significant investments we can make and it is also one which personally I have little previous experience of. The range of decisions, both large and small in any project can quickly become overwhelming. Throughout the project we felt we were in good hands with Jim and team as they worked to deliver the home we wanted within the constraints we had. The team were always punctual, managed the site well and were courteous with our neighbours (we have a shared drive so this was important). Jim managed the whole thing - liaising with the architect and managing building control etc. The communication on the project was excellent - we were consulted on any changes or challenges ahead of work being done. Invariably, when translating designs into reality there are challenges and this is where the real value of the TWB team is, they are problem solvers, and this helped us stay on target and budget including great advice on where savings could be made with little impact on what we were trying to achieve. We've got a great house that was delivered on time and budget and wouldn't hesitate to recommend TWB.

Jim and his team built a single storey extension for us. They were brilliant from start to finish. Jim was always accommodating with any requests we had and bought great ideas of his own. He always kept us up to date with what was happening. The whole team were a pleasure to have on site, very professional and friendly. The project kept to budget and time and we were absolutely delighted with the end result. I would highly recommend Jim and his team.

Jim and his small team built our detached, 4-bed house in South Tonbridge in only 9 months, despite being located on a particularly challenging site (completed mid-2021). As an architect, I designed the house and the expectations were high. As a family, we are so pleased with the quality of the build and the external works to the landscaped garden. I would have no hesitation in recommending TWB - top class builders.
