We used Deacon for a full house renovation that they completed over a 4-month period and couldn’t be happier with the result. Tom, as a project manager and builder, is incredibly detail-oriented and works to such high standards - his coordination of contractors and subcontractors was excellent, with a realistic and well-managed timeframe throughout. Budgeting was thorough and upfront, and although surprises inevitably arose being a Victorian property, each issue was handled calmly and practically. All the contractors that Tom brought in to work on the project were respectful and proactive with neighbouring properties regarding noise. We cannot recommend Deacon enough.

Have completed several projects for Tom and the deacon team as his drylining sub contractor over the past few years. Genuinely, one of the best builders we have come across, not just recently, but ever. Every sub trade is not only extremely competent, but also goes above and and beyond to make the next trades job so much easier. This in turn leads to the extremely high end finish that deacon provides, but also makes the job fun and enjoyable to complete. Couldn’t recommend Tom and the gang anymore. Top bloke, top builder.

Deacon consultancy are an excellent source of knowledge all the way through our projects. We engage with them early before we have even started construction as they go through the architects plans in fine detail to make cost savings and correct mistakes from a construction perspective not a desk based perspective. Tom is fast to respond, excellent value for money and very knowledgable.

Tom and the team at Deacon Construction built our two storey extension. During the project we significantly extended the scope to also include a refurb of large parts of the rest of the house, which was accommodated with no fuss. The work was completed to the highest possible standard on time (5 months start to finish for a job most builders would take 9 - 12 months to complete) and on budget. I cannot overstate just how good Deacon Construction are, their attention to detail is unrivalled - in Tom’s own words, he has builder OCD, and you can see that in the results Deacon Construction achieve.
