I feel like I hit the jackpot with JR Construction. Extremely professional, skilled, communicative, and amazing attention to detail. Jack took pains to source and match historic brick and roof tiles and the team did top notch work. They show up on time and leave the job site cleaner than they found it.

I contacted Jack to undertake three jobs in my house (to install a glass balustrade and a sun tunnel, and to knock out a fireplace). Jack responded quickly with a quote and an approximate start date and kept in touch in the meantime. Jack is a very genuine guy, happy to offer honest, valuable advice when asked. He and his team are very skilled, knowledgeable, hard working and professional. Their enthusiasm and cheerfulness made it a real pleasure to have them in my home.

We have just had a tricky little renovation job done by Jack and the boys. Taking a wall down in a 1910 cottage. No problem! All electrics made safe and roof supported while the steel beams were made to measure. Russ and Tom did a fantastic job cleaning up afterwards. Can’t praise them highly enough. Barry and Sue

We took a gamble as we didn’t have a known builder before starting our project, searched reviews on many platforms to find JR construction as one of the highest rated builders in the area. Got in touch with Jack and had a quote within just over a week or so, within price range and able to start within the next couple months. We had Jack and his team working on our house for approx 1-2months to knock down internal walls, install 3x steels, screed to new floor level and install 2x staircases. Jack and his guys were incredibly helpful from start to finish, always available at the end of the phone to discuss the project. Despite us changing our scope mid-build, I was impressed with jack’s ability to adjust and welcome the new changes. Overall incredibly impressed with JR Construction, they start early and finish late and will always clean up at the end of the day. Would recommend JR to anyone and will be our first builder in mind if we ever have another project. Thanks Jack & team.

Jack and his team have been working on our house renovation and build for just over a year. We are so lucky and grateful to have found them!! The best out there by far. This was a pretty big project, a full build and renovation, a new built garage and outdoor office. The standard of work and build is supreme, the knowledge and experience was second to none and every day on site with Jack, Russ and Tom was a pleasure and a real learning experience too. Jack has exceptionally high standards and questions every little detail to ensure perfection. The finish and build quality is better than we could have ever asked for, with plenty of new ideas and special touches thrown in too. Jack and the guys did the bulk of what you see including brickwork, bathroom tiling, floor tiles, oak cladding, internal doors, carpentry and fitting a pretty challenging and bespoke kitchen and of course building a double height full extension, new double garage and renovating the existing cottage. We can't fault them and are so pleased we found Jack and the guys to build our dream house. You won't find better skill set, knowledge, passion, experience, hard work and dedication. They were all fully committed every day and involved in every step of the way in a very personal family home build. Cannot recommend highly enough!!
