Very pleased with the work Knights recently completed for me. Everyone was professional, friendly, polite and hardworking. The work involved and the costs were explained clearly and when the work was finished Daniel came to check that I was happy with everything. I wouldn’t hesitate to return to Knights in the future if I am in need of any building work. A trustworthy, reliable and delightful team.

I have used M W Knight for 16 years now. They were first recommended to me by Samuel Wood Estate Agents as I was buying a 250 year old Grade 2 listed office property which needed completely renovating within a very tight deadline. Since then the team has successfully completed several projects for me including roof replacement, a domestic property renovation, emergency work to deal with a cellar leak, design and fitting of a wet room for my elderly mother and various other property maintenance jobs. As with any building projects involving old buildings, surprises can occur and have to be dealt with. I am always kept informed of the progress of works and any chance in the scope of work and associated costs is always discussed and agreed in advance. The team is a pleasure to deal with and I am very happy to recommend their services.

Had work done for about 7 years on 3 different properties. Including: new parking area, drains, electric supply, CCTV, water supply, new kitchen fitted, replacement wood floor on ground floor reception room, planning for new disabled access on public building, listed building alterations, reconfigured patio, new bedroom wash basin and new shower. Always helpful and professional. All of the workers and tradespeople have been very skilled and good to deal with. The quality of the work done is of the highest order. They have stuck to timetables but if delayed have always explained the reason and re-scheduled. Whilst not the cheapest, they always try to keep costs to the minimum. Always make you feel that it is your wishes that must be respected, but if impractical, they explain why and suggest sensible alternatives. Have no hesitation in recommending them.

What a wonderful group of workers. They were all polite, respectful of my 87 year old mother in law and all smiled whilst working. We have had a wet room done and both the plan and the final job is exceptional. Any queries sent through were answered immediately by Daniel, the project manager. We would definitely use MW Knights & Sons Ltd and, in fact, have already arranged for them to do another room that needs updating and they are booked in for next week.

Knights builders have done a wonderful job renovating a grade 2 listed property for us. It turned out to be a much bigger job than we had anticipated as nothing had been done since the 1970s - we have retwired replumbed and redecorated throughout and the house is now beautiful. Knights could not have been more helpful especially in dealing with a tricky neighbour and guiding through the planning quagmire. Daniel, the foreman is exceptional- preparing detailed quotes and never complaint as we changed our minds or added on work - he is exceptionally responsive answering queries immediately and all the work men have been delightful, nothing too much trouble. We will continue to use Knights for any future work and would highly recommend them.
