Can not speak highly enough of our experience with G&M. Our project was a design and build and from start to finish they guided us through every stage of the process helping us to create the most beautiful home. Every aspect has been handled professionally and with great care to detail. Every person involved has been helpful and shown great knowledge to allow us to relax and enjoy what would have otherwise been a stressful process. Every individual takes pride in their work and that is reflected in our finished home.

There are builders… and then there are artisans who happen to work in brick, timber, and stone. Grocott & Murfit Builders are quite simply among the finest high-end builders in Norfolk. We have worked with them for many years, and their standard remains flawlessly consistent — calm, precise, and deeply professional. Daniel is exceptional: attentive, organised, and quietly outstanding in the way he leads every project from beginning to end. The craftsmanship is not merely good — it is signature. Lines are clean, finishes are immaculate, and every detail feels intentionally considered. What truly sets Grocott & Murfit apart from other building companies in Norfolk is that they offer all services under one roof. Whether you are planning a luxury renovation, a seamless extension, or a full property refurbishment, there is no need to look elsewhere. Everything is coordinated with ease, delivering a complete experience as much as a complete build. There is no rush. No compromise. No corners cut. Only the steady confidence of a team who know exactly what exceptional looks like. If you are searching for trusted builders in Fakenham or Norfolk, who deliver lasting quality, beauty, and value, Grocott & Murfit are in a category of their own. Once you work with them, you realise there is simply no further builder you need. Highly, unequivocally recommended.

What truly set Grocott and Murfit apart was their responsiveness and genuine partnership approach. Throughout the project they listened closely to our requirements, communicated clearly, and worked collaboratively with us not only to ensure every detail aligned with the needs of our community but to also deliver the project within budget. Their flexibility and solution-focused attitude gave us complete confidence at every stage of the build. We would not hesitate to recommend Grocott and Murfit to anyone seeking a reliable, skilled, and collaborative building contractor.

We are a London and Norfolk based Architecture practice. We have worked with Grocott and Murfit Builders on a couple of projects including a private residential refurbishment with extension to a house in North Norfolk. We have consistently found their team to be highly professional, collaborative, and detail-orientated. Their communication throughout the project was clear and proactive, schedules were well managed, and coordination with the consultants and trades was handled smoothly. They approached challenges thoughtfully and are solution-orientated, which is essential for our work. The quality of workmanship was excellent, and the finished work reflected a high level of care and precision. We consider Grocott and Murfit a reliable and trusted contractor and would recommend them to clients and happily collaborate with them again on future projects.
