We recently contracted Bowden Builders to carry out an extension on our house. We contracted Matt to construct the main shell of our extension up to and including electrical and gas certification as well as being signed-off by Building Control. We were very happy with them, the following points reference why: • Matt first produced an estimate which he subsequently met. • He was willing to carry out additional work which became apparent whilst he was onsite. • His team arrived first thing every day unless the weather prevented any work. • All the trade professionals he used were again excellent at their jobs - he seemed to effortlessly project manage this process from start to finish. I could go on; however, if I said we miss having them here, perhaps that says it all! Yes, building work is disruptive, yes, it can produce mess, yes, it can be stressful, but with Bowden Builders, you should feel confident that the job will get done and hopefully, like us, you will be very pleased with the outcome. Several of our neighbours have commented positively about the quality of workmanship on our extension - one of whom is a builder! I would feel confident to recommend Matt and his team - they work hard, are totally trustworthy, friendly, and we found them genuinely nice guys. Ps Biscuit and drinks were always appreciated by them!

Matt and his team work to the highest standard. We have had a single storey rear extension done and couldn’t be happier. Always turn up when they say they will be there and work extremely hard. Matt was always contactable to answer any questions we had and always went above and beyond to make things happen. Thank you so much to Matt and his team for creating an amazing living space for us!! We will definitely be using them again for further work when needed!

Would give 10 stars if I could. We are so happy with our new kitchen! Matt, Ed and Charlie have done a brilliant job at remodelling our kitchen extension. We would highly recommend Bowden Builders for any job, big or small. From initial contact to completion, everything has been perfect. Matt is extremely organised and has been able to coordinate everything so smoothly, ensuring the project kept on track. We’ve absolutely loved having them around and being able to discuss different options for our kitchen with them. Their breadth of knowledge and skills has exceeded all our expectations – we are over the moon with the result. The job included: • Ripping up old kitchen • Relocating services • Structural work (installing steel beam, relocating external door and widening the opening to allow for French doors) • Redoing the roof and installing warm deck • Replastering • Electrics/plumbing • Creating a skylight opening • Building stud walls • Creating new toilet space • Creating an archway • Renovating under stairs cupboard • Complete kitchen installation • Tiling and laying hardwood flooring • Complete decoration What we liked most about Matt and his guys was how flexible and approachable they were. They made us feel comfortable so that we could discuss various options and how to best resolve any issues that popped up. They also flagged up issues and fixed them before they became a bigger problem. The quality of the finishing touches far exceeded that of any other work we've had done in our house by different builders. My partner and I both have high standards, so this says a lot about the quality of their work and goes to show they take pride in a job well done. The communication and invoicing were always transparent. They showed up every day that was agreed and always let us know of any changes in the plan/schedule. We will definitely be looking to work with Matt and his team again for other projects. If you’re planning on redoing any part of your house then do yourself a favour and get in touch with Matt. You won’t regret it.

Recently had new locks fitted to my front door. Matt was excellent to communicate with and the carpenter who carried out the work was super friendly, tidy and done a lovely job. Will be recommending to all my family and friends and will definitely use the company again. Thank you for everything!
