John is extremely skilled from flooring to plastering, plumbing, electrics and kitchen fitment all carried out to complete the job in the time constraints. I will be using this company again in the future Thank you

I had already bookmarked MJJ's(based on reading the great reviews here),for future renovations on the house. However, when I purchased a new range cooker I had real trouble finding anyone willing to do the job(involved both gas & electrics issues and removal of housing).Knew John would be busy, but I thought I'd take a chance - to cut it short,J came around on the Saturday to take a proper look at what exactly was required, called his trusted gas & electrics trades to see if they could make themselves available and they arranged to come and do the work on Monday evening,*after* their day work, which they duly did, with J arriving early to get a head start - in all, getting a not straightforward job done, without any fuss at all. J didn't have to take it on,nor inconvenience himself to do so given that he is so incredibly busy, but he did. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend . Edit: Google won't allow 2nd reviews,so this is added as an amendment. To keep in short and sweet - I was fortunate enough to be able to have John fit in the long overdue renovation of my bathroom and separate loo, whilst also working to a preferred deadline for completion(for me). As always, any unexpected surprises that an older house might throw at a contractor, John remained unfazed by my disintegrating plaster, wonky walls and door frames. Joists and floor boards that were damaged and rotten from previous water ingress, were also replaced, so everything was removed, literally, from the ground upwards - small room definitely does not mean small job. My brief was simple - no fuss,no frills,no bells & whistles, neutral, easy maintenance and access. Aside from tiles and flooring I had already purchased the 'furnishings', but was very, very glad I got some advice from John about tiles before I'd gone and bought what I was so sure I wanted, as I ended up doing a complete 360 on my choices(including a *very* last minute change of counter top sink). John and team put in some absolutely epic shifts to get the job done (also replacing my hall radiator and both doors on bathroom and loo) and I couldn't be happier.

5 stars to John …if there were 6 this guy would get them John was professional from start to finish Great communication and was true to his word Punctual, polite and cleared as he went Always asked permission to make changes Nothing was too much and his team worked hard whilst not bothering the family some of whom work from home I am so pleased with the kitchen installed, I made a mistake re the size of fridge freezer and John will kindly come back to install this when arrives, not many contractors would do this, again professional! John gave suggestions and ultimately saved me monies where was not needed to be spent I highly recommend John and hope he will continue with some of my other renovations in the future

This is the second time we've used John to renovate rooms in our flat. First he did an amazing job with our kitchen, and more recently a couple weeks ago he completed three rooms for us (bathroom and two bedrooms) ahead of schedule without sacrificing quality. The rooms are fantastic and finished at a really high standard. We love John's work and will continue to use him for any future projects because we know he'll always deliver 100%!

John recently remodelled our kitchen (removal and renovation). I cannot rate him highly enough - he was helpful through the design process, with intelligent suggestions and pointers. During the build and installation, John was friendly, hard-working and had an attention to detail that most builders/contractors simply don't have. He doesn't let small things slide or leave a half job done, and it's clear how much he cares about having a perfect finish on his work. He was particularly careful not to disrupt us whilst working from home during the work, and would warn of any "noisy days" ahead of schedule. All of the staff working for him on the job were great, and clearly people he works with frequently and trusts. I will absolutely be using his services again in the future. Update: As I said, I absolutely did use John's services again, for a remodel on my bathroom, and two bedrooms. He did an incredible job with some difficult pipework, and all of the usual problems that you find in an old apartment. John is an absolute professional, always arriving on time, friendly, always keeping you updated on his progress and not leaving until he meets his own very high standards. He had some brilliant ideas from our original requirements that really improved the look of the rooms and ensured that we got good prices on high quality materials for all the build. I can't recommend his services enough - he is quite simply the best.
