Initially bought our home at Church Fields, Saxilby as an investment, liked it sooo much we moved in. I have been in the building trade for 40+ years, new builds and renovations, and know a good build when I see one! Looked at all 3 sites at Saxilby and Lindum Homes were far superior. Little touches such as false chimneys, cream windows, stone sills etc. All the staff are very helpful and Phil Dudding, the MD, is very approachable. Very, very happy with our new build. Lindums are wanting to come and resolve any snagging issues but we have a job to find any😁. Can't ask for more. Refreshing my review as it has disappeared from Lindums web site?😤 UPDATE: We left our lovely Saxilby home as decided to go back to a bungalow as Barry having severe back problems, which are now resolved. Now, fancy a new build again. We love our location where we are now, just off A46 Skellingthorpe roundabout and have best doctors ever. So, looked at Taylor Lindsey Homes at Skellingthorpe and Sterling Homes. Taylor Lindsey, cramming them in, no taste with 3 beds detached and, whilst exterior pleasing to the eye, interiors inferior but good location. Sterling Homes, real quality, Siemens appliances, kitchen furniture fantastic, garden room BUT terrible location. So, we went to Lindums site at Waddington. Exactly as I anticipated- great layout, spacious and their usual quality homes. However, 3 beds detached Kingsboune smaller than ours at Saxilby as we had an integral garage so the 3 bedrooms were much bigger. We were interested in plot24. I would have described its location as a cul de sac. However, I was informed it was a private driveway for the 4 houses there. We would all be responsible for maintaining the block driveway. I would call that a “shared driveway” which, knowing the problems associated with them, could not entertain it. Who’s going to go and weed the driveway, I would but would the others? Why make a problem? Just tarmac it and make it a cul-de-sac. All builders like to have “covenants “. One is always “no motorhomes”. Each purchaser should be able to ask permission and, if motorhome is quality, be allowed. There is a stunning development at Cricketers Walk, Nettleham whereby some purchasers have been granted permission to keep their motorhomes at their very prestigious properties. The covenant that should be in the Deeds is NO TRAMPOLINES. I cannot think of anything worse than one of those on my boundary. Lots to like as always at Lindum’s sites but, unfortunately, not this time for me. Anita, the sales lady was extremely helpful and Beckie’s show house, as usual, was stunning. The kitchen has pink units, I loved them. S

Great company - first class service and such a friendly and helpful team. Nothing has been too much trouble. We have been kept informed along the buying process of our bungalow and attention to detail is excellent. Build quality and fixtures and fittings are excellent and would not hesitate to recommend them. Thanks to all at Lindum Homes

We have recently bought a house from Lindum and are pleased to say that this has been a superb experience from start to finish. We didn't think of ourselves as new build people, and would never contemplate buying from a company like Persimmon, but we were attracted to one Lindum design in particular, hence our initial contact. Some due diligence combined with gut feeling suggested buying from Lindum would be fine. It turned out to be much better than fine. At every stage of the transaction the various people we've dealt with have been professional, helpful and reliable, without exception. Here are just a few examples that spring to mind that represent our experience: Our choice of tiling in one room was specified not to include any of the edging trim options. Weeks later when the tiler was on site he called the sales office to check if we might want the edging trim as in his opinion the beveled tile edge looked better with it. The sales office called me then reported back. We took his advice and it was the correct decision. It would have been very easy for them not to bother and to have stuck to our spec, but they do care and do make the effort. A similar example, we wanted to upgrade to an induction hob, but weren't overly keen on the standard IH option. They confirmed we can choose anything on the market, so we did. The sales office later came back to confirm that whilst that was fine, being a plug in hob it would be limited if all rings were used at once, and the power would be restricted. Good point, so we changed to a hard-wired option. Checking points like this seems to come naturally to them, and it all makes a difference. The predicted build completion date from quite a way out was August 23rd. We collected the keys on August 23rd. This made planning our sale and other matters much easier than it could have been. As we were moving from far away, Julie in the show home kindly offered to take photos of the build on several occasions as it neared completion, allowing us to be more involved. Julie emailed loads of photos, each one received eagerly and gratefully. Inevitably with a new house there will be a snag list. Ours was limited and all points were addressed quickly and fairly. Summary: great house, ability to spec just about everything, smooth transaction.

Purchased a Lindum Homes house in April '16. The estate is well designed and the selection of external materials across the site are of a good quality. The layout of the house itself is good and the gardens are of a decent size. The only thing lacking in my house in particular is the number of electrical sockets, however our purchase was at too late a stage in the construction process to be rectified. Minor defects are dealt with in a prompt and accommodating matter. Will definitely be considering Lindum Homes for a future house.

Having recently purchased a new house at their Garrett Rise development in Heighington, I have to say we are really pleased with the quality of our new home! In particular, the specification included within the price is so much higher than other competitors! The development itself has obviously been carefully planned, being low density with a large area of green space, whilst mix of materials really compliments the house designs. All in all a great place to live!
