   Having relocated from Devon 2 months ago, to Risby Homes Hornby Walk development in Walkington, we couldn't be happier that we chose this development & this builder. Having experience of mainstream builders' homes, the difference in quality & service is overwhelming. The house designs, colours of brickwork & the ability to make the internal layout work for you, Risby Homes are in a different league. You arrive as potential buyers, but end up feeling part of the Risby Homes family, where you regularly speak to everyone from the bosses to the workers on the ground & they are all lovely & so helpful. Originally looking in Beverley, we weren't intending to live in a village, but after the exceptional help & advice from Sales Manager Amanda Meadows, whose incredibly calm & informative manner made us realise that the transport links into Beverley were better here than on the edge of town, we made what has turned out to be totally, the right decision. We love our home ! Thank you to everyone involved.

   I like my home. Amanda and Iain, the site manager, were efficient, professional and kind. The director and customer experience director were not. I found their behaviour very arrogant during an inspection of an issue with my house. Both were openly mocking, condescending and sneering — inside my own home, during a complaint. I raised my discomfort, and they continued without apology. Unprofessional. In general, the aftercare process seemed to lack reasonableness and common sense. After raising issues like lights at incorrect heights and solar panels disconnected following a contractor visit, initial responses felt like fobbing off, and so we had needlessly protracted back and forths over simple remedies like adjusting the height of a wall light we’d already paid for.    We have been so pleased with the entire process of buying our new home. All the staff we have been excellent to deal with. Everyone is very pleasant and any queries are answered promptly. Everyone has been most helpful. We would have no hesitation in recommending Risby Homes, far better quality than our previous new build which was purchased from a well known builder.

   Recently relocated to Beverley. Very, very happy we chose to buy a Risby House. From the start the service has been excellent, both Jemima and Amanda have been extremely helpful guiding us through the process and answering all our queries promptly and fully, no matter how trivial some of them seemed. Whole purchase process went incredibly smoothly. We have now been in our house a few weeks and are pleased to say this excellent service has continued with Iain ensuring that any little niggles (and they are only little niggles, as the quality of the build is exceptional) are dealt with quickly. Tradesmen are quickly sent to professionally deal with any minor issues and again each one of them has been very helpful and nothing is too much trouble for them. We are so pleased with our new home and the quality of all the work. Looking forward to spending many happy years here. I cannot recommend Risby Homes highly enough
