Needed a pre-purchase house survey done and it couldn’t have been easier. I called Carl’s office and spoke to a really helpful assistant who was super flexible with dates and times. They even sorted everything out with the estate agent for me and confirmed a time that worked for everyone. Met Carl at the house — he got straight on with it, no fuss. A couple of days later I had the full survey in my inbox. Fair price, fair work, and zero hassle. Would definitely recommend Carl to anyone needing a survey done!

After being let down by another builder, Carl responded to our enquiry quickly, gave us great advice and communicated all the way. Being kitchen-less with 3 young children, the team went above and beyond to get us back on track and get us out of a challenging situation. The quality of work is to a high standard, staff are polite and trustworthy. Overall, I wouldn’t hesitate to use Martin Building again in the future or to recommend them.

Carl came to do a ‘Home Buyers Survey. He arrived at the property before me and provided us with clear points of action we needed to take…..the traffic light system prioritising work is excellent and extremely useful. Questions were answered promptly and the written survey was with us in less than a week. One easy part of moving.

Carl knocked down a supporting wall for us and fitted and boxed in a beam. All plaster and ceiling, floor was made good. A tidy Jon done promptly for us to fit in with other work. Carl also got the planning permission sorted (though optional), be aware Darlo council take their time if you need this.

We had a large extension completed recently which is absolutely fabulous and has completely transformed our home for the better. Despite being unlucky with the weather (not a day without rain!!) they managed to keep going- thanks to the forward thinking addition of a canopy over the site. Carl kept us updated with regular communication from start to finish. The whole team were professional and friendly throughout the whole process. The quality of the work was excellent throughout. We would definitely recommend Martin Building ltd to others, your home is in safe hands!!
