Dere St Homes have been fantastic helping us purchase our new home. Michelle and Dennis have been brilliant helping us and answering all our queries; as first time buyers, there were many! They were honest and communicative through the whole process and provided updates to us throughout the different stages of our build. A beautifully built home with quality that we didn’t find elsewhere. Very happy with our new home at The Coppice site!

We had a very bad experience with this builder. Cheap fixtures, brickwork out of level, doors don’t open or shut properly. A lot of talk from sales people however after they take your money they don’t reply and their aftercare and site manager is appalling. We had a lot of issues dealing with the managing director of the company directly. Unfortunately just did not want to know. In the end we had to pay using our own money to correct things when they should have been under warranty. Please avoid

Poor company who do not correct damaged items. We are still no further forward with this company. Lot of defects that have not been corrected. Director of the firm just does not listen or help….. it is a battle…… it really is. Painful….. We bought a house from this company for our family and lot of trouble. Customer aftercare is practically non existent and when they do show up they told us they write their own reviews to boost sales….

Bought our new home from Dere Street Homes and it could not have gone better. I would like to say a special thank you to Ruth in Sales who was a great help in getting us moving, we had our house to sell and used their Assisted Move scheme which worked out great and saved us some money on the estate agents fees too. The house itself is fantastic! I don’t really understand the reviews I’ve seen on cheap fixtures and fittings as mine and our neighbours are all the same and of the highest quality, we chose Karndean flooring and Bosch appliances etc. The site team have done an amazing job and the quality of the finish is second to none. Sean, the Managing Director inspects some of the houses before they complete - what a great way to ensure your business is delivering! He also gave us some sound advice on a few things that we are thinking about doing in the future and we have very much appreciated his time and expertise. The house itself has exceeded our expectations. We have been in for a while now and have found the customer care to be quick and efficient, yes you have to log the items on the portal but it’s easy enough to do. Any items we’ve reported have been sorted quickly. We can 100% recommended Dere Street Homes.

Dere Street has made the moving process stress free. They have helped us every step of the way to get us into our dream home. Their spec and finer detail of houses is so much higher than other new builds we looked at. We can’t thank the Dere street team enough and look forward to many happy years in our new home.
