Loft conversion 2025, work done promptly, meticulously, and to a high standard. Nothing was too much trouble to Graeme and all his team. Thank you.

ARC completed a hip-to-gable loft conversion on our 1930s semi in summer 2025. This included a new staircase, new bedroom and bathroom, storage cupboards, plus some additional works in our house. They’ve done a fantastic job and we’re really happy with the result. All of the ARC employees were really nice, really helpful, trustworthy and personable. Special mention to Graeme who led the project and regularly went above and beyond.

Arc have just finished an extension to our existing kitchen. It was meant to start earlier in the year but for various reasons (not Arc’s fault) it was delayed until a June start. From the moment Graeme (project manager) arrived the job ran very smoothly for 10 weeks. The weather definitely helped but every element of the job ran on time or ahead from Initial knock down/ground work right through to the snagging at the end. All the sub contractors were professional and the Arc employees always went above and beyond especially Graeme, Mark, Alan & Ste. The finishes were high quality and we are very happy with our new extension! Would definitely recommend!

ARC did a fabulous job. Old extension knocked down and a new extension built including fitting a new kitchen, cloakroom and bathroom. In addition they updated the electrics, replumbed the heating, renewed the roof and installed a lift. The team couldn't have been nicer. They were friendly and helpful and my neighbours all commented on how polite they were, always trying to minimise the disruption to the street. The quality of the work was excellent and the whole process was made as painless as possible. Graeme and the team are stars!

Arc build have just completed a full ground floor kitchen extension and new bathroom plus fitting (will added kitchen and bathroom review to Arc Kitchens page) and very pleased with the work. You really appreciate how many processes are involved once the build is complete, Arc have so many quality employees like Alan, Steve & Steve, Kev, Keith, Kieron and Mark just to name a few with the service underpinned by Graeme who was amazing. Graeme was recommended by friends in the area who also used Arc Build as someone who could could come up with and deliver on ideas as they arise, he was happy for me to message him with queries and always kept us updated, even knew that I liked to understand the processes so was happy to explain them . Arc gutted the whole downstairs, back to brick, stripping out old out all pipework/electrics/walls/ceiling/floor to create a blank canvass. We really liked how during this three month Arc Build + Arc Kitchens & Bathrooms project they made a temporary kitchen so we could still cook. Arc handled all building calcs for steelwork because we wanted 1st floor extension steel to also go in as part of this project, they dealt with new 2.8 metre window and bifold openings with lintels plus proper sandstone sills sourced locally, made to measure but really appreciated getting the build, kitchen and bathroom done by one company as Arc took care of the numerous processes to get it all sorted, cheers, KH
