We recently had our garage converted into a cinema room by Daren and the team at KJB Builders, and we're absolutely delighted with the result. From start to finish, the workmanship and professionalism were outstanding. Daren was on site every day, & Charlie and Ted were brilliant throughout. Also a mention to Dave the joiner's meticulous attention to detail was excellent. We highly recommend Daren & the team at KJB Builders. Thank you all for a fantastic job!

KJB Builders carried out the re-roofing of our property. The roof in question is quite complicated and we had been turned down by many roofers who were unwilling or unable to carry out the necessary work. A quote for the work was given and a payment schedule mapped out - paying for the work in stages. Darren, Charlie and the team carried out the work quite brilliantly. They arrived on site when they said they would and completed the job on time despite the fact that one week we were having torrential down pours and the next week it was a record heatwave! The site was always tidy and they were cheerful and friendly, always going the extra mile to ensure that the job was right. Their attention to detail was extraordinary. Even going so far as to water my plants while we were away! Our roof now looks amazing and we are absolutely delighted with the result. When the scaffolding came down Darren & Charlie were here to do a final clean up of the site - it looks beautiful. In fact, if it wasn't for the new roof you wouldn't know they had been here at all. I would confidently recommend KJB Builders to anyone.

5 Star review for KJB - Daren & his whole team! We are so pleased with the work Daren & his team at KJB have has completed for us. We started the process of our house renovation back in July 2025 when we got an architect over to draw up plans to make our 1970s house more appropriate for modern day living. After getting a few building companies to quote, we decided to go with KJB due to competitive pricing, good reputation and a general good feeling we got when we first met Daren - he came across experienced, happy to help and we felt confident in his hands. The works started in January 2026 and Daren's team were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. They arrived promptly on site evert morning at 0730 and didn't miss a day. The project was completed ahead of schedule and we're so pleased with the end result. Daren's oversight and communication throughout the whole project has been second to none and always popped over to discuss matters and oversee progress. This was a gamechanger for us, and we always felt heard and listened to. Inevitably some problems popped up (i.e. re-routing drainage etc) but Daren handled these problems pragmatically and communicated proactively. We have split the renovation up into two phases, phase 1 was competed April 2026 which consisted of a ground story extension and downstairs reconfiguration. The quality of the finish is outstanding and I trusted Daren completely with all aspects of the build. He also provided invaluable recommendations of kitchen designer, electricians, decorators etc. We lived in the property as the extension was being completed which wasn't a problem at all, Daren and his team were so considerate and tidy. We have already re-booked KJB to compete the remainder of the property renovation (phase 2) and they will start in August. I have recommended KJB to many members of my family and friends who are looking to have building work done as I couldn't fault Daren and his team at all. I'm so grateful for their hard work and craftsmanship - so pleased to have found a builder we trust and have become good friends with too. Thank you KJB!

We couldn’t be happier with the work carried out. The project included new windows and doors at the rear of the house, replacing all the internal doors, and reconfiguring the downstairs layout ready for new kitchen. The quality of the workmanship throughout was great. Darren and his team were very reliable and a particular shout out to Dave the joiner. They always turned up when they said they would, kept us informed throughout, and never left the house messy at the end of the day. They also have a great network of trusted trades, including kitchen suppliers, electricians and plasterers, all of whom were a pleasure to work with and maintained the same standards. Pricing was transparent, with no arguments over payments, and the whole project was managed well from start to finish. We would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone looking for a reliable, professional builder who takes pride in their work.

We had a large extension to our cottage which took most of 2025. KJB builders did a smashing job. Darren, the owner, gave us a quote and breakdown of cost. We paid gradually, throughout the build (which ment that there was no worries about being ripped off or left in the lurch, like you read about). His staff were always on time and worked til the end of each day. They were hard working, friendly and, living on site, we were comfortable with their presence every day. Darren and the team always listened to our concerns, made any necessary changes, as we went along and always provided the very best of materials. Everything seemed to be delivered when needed and trades pulled in for plastering / flooring etc were timed seamlessly. We were super impressed with the roof tiles and capping stones, the windows and doors etc. We got in other trades for plumbing, electric, bathroom and kitchen, (Some were recommends by KJB) and they worked well alongside each other. Despite any hiccups we may have encountered along the way, we felt confident that KJB would be able to sort them out and they did. We would happily recommend Darren and his team.
