Peter came out quickly to quote for a job that involved re-laying and re-pointing some York stone flags on our courtyard. We got a date for work to start which was exactly as Peter had said when he quoted. Kat worked alongside Peter and the progress was quick, despite having to work around some heavy bouts of rain. The finished job looks amazing, it has totally transformed our courtyard. We would highly recommend PJ Hendrick to others. Thanks to Peter & Kat for an awesome job!

Pete and Kata transformed our basic new build garden to a garden that has character and one which we are delighted with! Pete provided helpful design suggestions and Kata advised us on plants. Pete always did what he said he would do and could not be faulted. We would recommend Pete and Kata 100%

Many thanks to Peter for doing a great job. Replacing old decking area to a lovely stone patio, replaced old wooden sleeper wall for new. Built pyramid steps upto the lawn area. A big thank you to Kat for all your hard work. We would highly recommend Peter as he is fair and works to a high standard.

We were considering getting our old, dirty patio with loose and cracked stone replaced. We got a quote from a joiner to replace with composite decking that was £12k. We contacted Peter at PJ Hendricks builders who said he could treat it, pressure wash it, replace the cracked stones and repoint in between the stones. The transformation is amazing and was a fraction of the price to replace. We’re now planning to get Peter back to do the same with our blocked paving drive! The service and results were fantastic.

Conversion of an unmaintainable sloping back garden and grotty sand riddled concrete flagged patio, into something beautiful and useful. Pete’s vision led the project from start to finish, requiring a lot of groundwork before a single brick could be laid. Substantial retaining walls needed on both sides; this, Pete achieved with care, precision and ingenuity – a first class job. Having dealt with that, he built three 5 course walls and two 1200mm flagged (Indian sandstone) levels to raise the patio to well over a metre up to a sloping garden. Looked impossible but he achieved this with a structure that was absolutely bombproof and, to the eye, beautiful. A large attractive patio finished up the job. Pete also helped building and installing vegetable planters, a path with attractive granite sets and a small seating area higher up. The overall effect is stunning. Timekeeping was first class, often arriving early to get the day off to a productive start. A craftsman and a hard grafter – you can’t ask for more.
