We recently completed a major project with Valentin and his team at CVI, and the experience has been exceptional from start to finish. They delivered a full single‑storey extension, refurbished our entire ground floor (including a new kitchen and herringbone LVT flooring), added a new bathroom and utility room, re‑landscaped half the garden (including digging it out and pushing it back), installed an artificial lawn and new gates, and finished everything off with a beautifully block‑paved driveway. In short: CVI can do it all, and they do it brilliantly. One of the standout qualities was their reliability. The team consistently arrived between 7.30–8.00am and worked full days, regardless of weather conditions. Their work ethic never wavered, and it gave us huge confidence in the pace and professionalism of the build. Valentin himself is incredibly friendly, approachable, and easy to communicate with. My whole family got along with him, which makes a huge difference when you have people working in your home for months. He replied swiftly to every message, was transparent about what was possible, and kept us updated on progress throughout. What really impressed me was how solution‑oriented he was. Valentin offered thoughtful suggestions that not only improved the project but also saved us money. He coordinated seamlessly with structural engineers, kitchen designers, and building control, ensuring everything moved smoothly and met the right standards. There was absolutely no cutting corners—everything was done properly, safely, and to a high standard. CVI also has a strong network of trusted contractors. The plumbers who handled the underfloor heating and boiler/tank system were excellent, as were the electricians. It’s clear that Valentin only works with people who match his own standards. Even after the main job was completed, Valentin returned promptly for minor snags and never made me feel awkward for pointing out small things. That aftercare says a lot about his pride in the work and commitment to customer satisfaction. The finished result is stunning. I’m genuinely enjoying the new space every day, and the transformation has exceeded what I imagined at the start. Working with Valentin and CVI has been a pleasure, and I’ll be very happy to use them again on my next project.

I can’t say enough good things about Valentin and his team. From day one they were just… solid. Always turned up when they said they would, replied quickly, kept me updated, and I never had to chase. You can tell they really care about doing things properly — everything was finished to a high standard and there was no cutting corners. I also changed my mind a few times along the way (sorry guys 😅) and they were honestly so patient and flexible about it. Nothing ever felt like a problem. They did loads for me: new floors, painting the whole flat, a full bathroom redo with a walk-in shower and underfloor heating, custom wardrobes built exactly how I wanted, radiators replaced, kitchen units updated, and they handled all the electrical work too. It all looks great and feels properly done. They even dealt with deliveries, post, and sorting utilities — which, if you’re working full-time and doing this on your own, is a massive help. As a single woman in the office every day, having a team I could trust like this made the whole thing so much less stressful. Total lifesavers. Would recommend them to anyone without hesitation

Valentin decorated both the front and back of my house as well as a complete bathroom replacement. He and his team displayed remarkable problem solving skills and he was able to identify a decade long ongoing issue and provide a solution within days. Jobs may take longer than stated as he is a perfectionist in his work. If you decide to hire Valentin he will go above and beyond of what you expected.

We hired CVI Builders to build a patio and a pergola at the back of our garden. Plus a patio and new flowerbeds at the front. Valentin and his team are great. They listened and built exactly what we wanted. It’s all top quality, done with attention to detail and at a fair price. I appreciate that we knew what we were paying upfront, they don’t add on costs during the project. Also, they genuinely care about doing a good job which can’t be said of all builders! This was the second time we’ve used CVI builders having used them for a home renovation last year. They will continue to be our go-to in future.

Valentin and this team have done an amazing job on our extension, we are so please with the final result! The project was very large and complex due to the steels needed and the age of the house. Valentin gave a very competitive quote and came up with some great ideas about how to approach it. During the works the team made sure the disruption to us was kept to the minimum and was very clean and tidy. The quality of the workmanship was spot on and great attention to detail was exceptional! The final reason is stunning and I would highly recommend CVI builders for their skill and price.
