I contacted Stuart after being ignored by someone else. He responded quickly to my messages & communication was excellent throughout. Being an awkward customer, I needed Stuart to be available at specific times. This wasn't a problem for him & he turned up as promised at the time we discussed. I had several jobs for him to complete & he did them all to a high standard & talked me through them all first before starting. I am very happy with the works carried out & would highly recommend & use his services again in the future.

We contacted Stuart about removing our old home security system. He was punctual in responding, quoted clearly, completed the work to a high standard and left no mess. Will be using him again for any electrical work in the future

Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience with Stuart at Mayo Electrical Services from start to finish. I had an EICR booked and confirmed attendance at 7:30am for an 8:30am arrival. Over two hours after the scheduled time, I received a message saying he would not be attending as another job had overrun. The appointment had to be rescheduled for the following week. When the inspection was carried out, I was informed that the EICR could not be completed unless remedial works were undertaken. I explained that I did not wish to proceed with remedials at that stage, but was told testing could not be finished without the ???modifications??? being completed first. I was also informed that parts were being sourced before I had agreed to any additional work or received a quotation. I was then offered a ???half completed??? EICR with blank sections, described as being ???nearly useless??? without the required work carried out. The explanation for this changed during subsequent discussions. The full report was eventually issued after considerable back and forth and was labelled as ???Unsatisfactory???. I subsequently sought a second professional opinion from another registered electrician, who carried out an independent EICR. The installation was assessed very differently and deemed Satisfactory. Overall, I found the reliability, communication and handling of the process poor, and the experience felt unnecessarily pressured. Based on my experience, I would not use this company again.

Stuart kindly got me in within a couple of days for some routine works and replacement light fightings! Very professional work done and everything was explained clearly! The work conducted is fantastic and I highly recommend this business to anybody in the area! Invoice came through very quickly as well!
