Walter is a craftsperson who offers attention to detail, high client service and a passion for his near unique skill set. He is an amiable chap who is easy to get along with. He offered pragmatic and practical answers to some of the issues we had and went out of his way to get supplies. We have had so many positive comments from our neighbours.

Walter at Victorian Tile Services was an absolute pleasure to deal with from beginning to end. His work is beautiful, precise, and truly reflects a master of his craft. From pricing the job through to completion, the entire process was seamless and stress-free. Walter finished everything on schedule, communicated clearly throughout, and was genuinely such a lovely person to have around. We wouldn???t hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for exceptional workmanship and outstanding service.

Slightly wary about taking on someone I didn???t know, I was immediately reassured by Walter who turned up on time, was courteous, friendly and clearly a real craftsman. He explained all the stages of the work needed to restore the hall and entrance floors and carried them out with real professionalism, including advising the people in the flat above of exactly what was happening when he worked on the shared porchway. Walter managed to transform a dirty, scruffy, damaged hall and entrance floor into a lovely Victorian tiled hallway and entrance. He provided a reasonable quote for the work, and he charged exactly that (no hidden extras). I am very happy with Walter???s work and would highly recommend him to anyone wanting work done on a tiled floor.

I am very happy with the tiling Walter did on our entrance path and steps and would not hesitate to call him again if I ever needed similar work done. Before he started work, he spent time with us to go through various tiling and paving options. He listened to what we wanted and made great suggestions backed by his experience. Together, we chose the tiles and paving we wanted. When the work started, Walter communicated clearly with us about when he would be working, what he would be doing, and any choices left for us to make. He worked at a good pace and was equally happy getting on with his work without us even noticing or stopping for an update and a chat. The results transformed the entryway to our house (see the before and after photos attached). It has now been almost two years since the work and it is all holding up well and still in great condition. I would recommend you get in touch with Walter if you would like Victorian tiling to improve your home too.
