Kieran recently shelved an alcove for me. He came round, measured up and went through the details thoroughly before quoting (I'd had quotes from others who didn't bother with half of that). Job was quick and clean, price was fair, and I'm very happy with the end result. I'd use his services again and would recommend him.

Kieran just completed a job at our house to fit a new internal door. The opening was not standard size and involved in adjusting the door frame, which he did to a very high standard. I've asked him quote for some other jobs and would highly recommend.

Keiran has fitted 3 doors for us consisting of replacing original 1960's plain two hinged doors for modern oak paneled three hinge doors. He did a great job, was punctual and tidied up after. We would have no hesitation in using his services again.

1 Star : Untrustworthy, Unprofessional, and Completely Avoidable. Kieran from Cullercoats Carpenter came recommended, but our experience was a disaster. We paid half upfront for a bathroom cabinet. He ghosted us. Only after involving the bank to process a refund did he respond. He showed up, and left us with half a cabinet (no door, no finished sides), promised to return as he???d messed the door and sides up, then ignored every message. Even the friend who recommended him can???t get a response. I???ve reported him to Action Fraud and Trading Standards. The cabinet is still sitting unfinished in our bathroom, and we???re out of pocket. This is not a business ??? it???s a liability. Avoid.

Kieran recently built us a large garden deck in the pouring rain which didn't bother him at all and was meticulous from start to finish. I can't express enough how happy we are with our decking, it's solid and finished to a extremely high standard. The deck was built on a slope in the ground too but not that you'd know now! Would definitely recommend!
