We recently used JDS Carpentry and honestly cannot recommend Jake highly enough. From start to finish, the entire experience was absolutely seamless. Jake invested a lot of time in our project before the physical work even began. We wanted a combination of TV unit/ shelves and cupboards across the length of our wall in the lounge and to maximise as much storage as possible. He did multiple design visits and went through absolutely everything super carefully, making sure we were completely happy with the plans. His attention to detail is second to none, and he is a brilliant, incredibly clear communicator. All of the costs were laid out clearly and the payment schedule was easy to follow and keep up with. What we appreciated most, though, was his patience. We had just had a baby, and Jake was incredibly understanding and patient with us (even if it meant he didn't get nearly as many cups of coffee made for him as he deserved!). On top of that, he was always punctual and tidy, leaving the workspace spotless every single day. My toddler also loved looking in Jake's well organised van and asking him lots of questions about what each of the tools did. They had some lovely chats during the 3 day installation! There was also a small issue with one of the LED light strips a couple of weeks after and Jake popped round to fix with no worries whatsoever. If you are looking for a highly skilled, professional, and genuinely accommodating carpenter, Jake is your guy. We will definitely be using JDS Carpentry again and have already recommended him to a few family and friends. I haven't included a photo of the inside of the cupboards as they are now jam packed ????

We are absolutely delighted with our TV/media unit installed by Jake. He did an incredible job, the finished result is beautiful and it was fitted to an exceptionally high standard. His attention to detail is fantastic and it has really transformed the lounge! Jake was extremely professional, his communication was excellent and he was also incredibly tidy and respectful of our home. We wouldn???t hesitate to recommend Jake and we are already thinking about the next project ! Thank you so much for such a brilliant job ????

Beautiful wardrobes, well worth the wait! And at the eleventh hour (at point of ordering the wardrobes) I asked Jake if he could add a matching unit in an awkward alcove, and it???s worked perfectly!
