Having previously used Mcloughlin carpentry and construction some years back, it was a given that we would call on them again when we wanted work doing in our new home. Darren and his son Harry have once again delivered to the highest of standards. They are skilled craftsman who are knowledgable in what they do, giving you the confidence from the offset that your in good hands. Darren, came initially to assess what we wanted doing and gave us some suggestions of his own which we welcomed. For example, we were just going to have single panelling throughout but Darren suggested us having double panelling on the bottom part in the living room and we're so glad we did as it really gives that quality finish that we were looking for. Their attention to detail is impressive, and there is a real sense of pride in the work they do. We're so pleased with the work that theyve done that weve now booked them in, to come back and start work on a patio that we want doing. They're 10/10 who fully deserve a 5 star rating review.

We contracted this firm to completely renovate our living room and dining room after a rewire, they stripped the rooms back to brick and completely transformed them. They did it all; plasterboarding, carpentry, structural work, floor laying and more. Darren and Harry were both extremely professional and a pleasure to have in the house. A standout about them was their eye for detail and the care they took on each part of the renovation. I highly recommend them 10/10.

Highly recommend Darren, his work is to a very high standard. He is very reliable and punctual and so tidy!! He knocked down an internal wall for us, to make an open plan kitchen diner. The whole process was totally stress free. We will definitely be using him again.

Darren replaced a window for me and was excellent throughout, on time and took real care in his work. Windows done to a exceptional quality I will definitely be using this company again.

It has been just over 12 months since having a knock through rear extension and so happy with the outcome and space it have given us. Darren was recommended by a number of friends due to the high standard of work they had done. Can honestly say Darren, his son Harry and every professional used all had excellent communication, knowledge and skills. They were honest, reliable, perfectionists, hard working and trustworthy throughout the whole process. Its a lot of money to be investing into building works and this can be nerve wracking however we knew we made the right choice. From the initial visit of assessing the job we could see how knowledgeable Darren was. Advised on things and gave ideas what would work best and what wouldnt, even down to ensuring we had building works covered on house insurance. The whole process was seamless, no stress, solution to anything. We had to stay living in the property while work going on with 2 small children, they made sure the place was kept clean, tidy and liveable. Would not hesitate recommending to anyone and will use again for any future works.
