Jake Coates fitted 9 doors in my house 1 month ago and he has done great work. From his visit to quote through to job completion he was prompt, polite and professional, Jakes standard of work is high and he charges fairly. In the coming months I will ask him to quote for a kitchen design and build. I can recommend Coates Carpentry to anyone wanting a good carpenter. Thanks Jake

I couldn't be happier with Jake Coates bespoke wardrobe service! The craftsmanship was outstanding, and the wardrobe fits the space perfectly???like it was always meant to be there. The attention to detail, quality of materials, and smooth installation process were all top-notch. From start to finish, Jake was professional, punctual, and clearly dedicated to delivering a high standard of work. Highly recommended if you're looking for a custom solution that combines functionality you need with beautiful design and need to accommodate sloping floors and a difficult space. Jake was kind enough to incorporate a bookcase that was made by my late husband and there is a photo that shows the furniture in very good use now.

Jake recently made some bespoke wardrobe doors and a custom cupboard for us that cleverly houses a dressing table ??? with doors that shut to hide any mess (brilliant idea!). He made them in high quality mdf so we were able paint and change them to whatever colour we wanted. His craftsmanship is absolutely spot on ??? everything looks amazing and works perfectly. From start to finish, Jake was a pleasure to have in the house. He was incredibly tidy, laying down plastic sheeting throughout the areas he walked and worked in, and always left everything spotless at the end of the day. He???s polite, trustworthy, and clearly takes real pride in what he does. We???re so happy with the results and would 100% recommend Jake to anyone looking for high-quality, professional carpentry work.

Jake from Coates Carpentry was an absolute professional, polite and very tidy, arriving on time each day, he dealt with all the irregularities of fitting doors to our 1930???s house. Jake also made a door for our under stairs cupboard perfectly to match the standard doors. I cannot recommend him enough, we are extremely impressed and very happy with the work he has carried out. When we need some more joinery we will definitely be calling Jake.

What a pleasure it was to deal with this company. From the initial chat, to the final fit... The process was seamless.?? We got a bespoke fitted dresser made. We had an awkward alcove in the bedroom. What Jake designed exceeded our expectations of what we thought was possible with the space. The quality and finish is incredible. Dealing with Jake was an absolute pleasure, I honestly cannot recommend this company enough.
