Tom installed a large canopy in larch for a building project. A pleasure to deal with. Good communication from initial enquiry through to completion with regular updates throughout the process. The quality of workmanship is very high with much effort taken to ensure everything is spot on. Highly recommend.

Excellent and highly sympathetic repairs to our timber framed house. Quality carpentry using traditional techniques and materials to blend in with existing old oak frame. I would recommend The Traditional Carpenters for any oak frame building project. Tom and Luke did a fantastic job from inception, design, drawings, and erecting the oak frame, to installing the external glazing and cover boards. Their pricing was very competitive when compared to the large oak frame companies, with the added benefit of producing a completely bespoke and made-to-measure building. They are extremely skilled carpenters and I didn't really appreciate how much work and detailing was involved in the finished building until I saw the guys at work. We are delighted with the finished oak framed extension and will definitely be contacting them in the future for further timber building projects.
