Dan is a great carpenter. He pays attention to details. He uses high-quality materials for his work. He???s also very supportive and friendly. If you have any ideas of what you want to custom made, he will chat with you and suggest the best solutions. 100% recommend! Dan has done a great job replacing an old wooden cill with a proper solid wood for us. It is very nice and tidy and ready to be painted.

Recently had Dan fit 12 internal doors along with ad hoc adjustments along the way that I requested. I cannot recommend him highly enough. Fitting that many doors is a major task, but Dan handled the entire job with absolute professionalism and a fantastic work ethic. He was accommodating with my extra requests and has a good attention to detail. Dan was punctual, kept the workspace tidy, and was a pleasure to have around the house. If you are looking for a skilled, reliable, and flexible carpenter who takes real pride in his work, Dan is your man. I will definitely be using his services again for future projects.

Excellent craftsmanship and service. I have had four bespoke interior double doors made, painted and fitted in my house. I have also had a small dark, almost a cupboard of a room turned into a beautiful book room shelved from floor to ceiling all around. Dan listened to what I wanted to achieve with both projects and really delivered. As an update, Dan has also made and installed more shelving for us for more books plus a bespoke mantel piece which I will be painting soon! Brilliant craftsman and always a pleasure to see him

Dan is a wonderfully talented carpenter & top bloke to have around, I could not recommend him enough. He got our house renovation back on track & delivered every project to an incredibly high standard. Some of the work he has done for us: fitted wardrobes, re-hung & fitted doors, bespoke window surround, wood flooring repair, custom desk, picture rail fitting, a kitchen re-fit, created custom privacy floor to ceiling slats & skirting fitting! Every one of these jobs has been done to a very high standard & we are thrilled with the work. Dan is our go to man for any house project, he is upfront & honest about costs & timelines, adds creative insight & is trustworthy & reliable. He is pleasure to have around & we would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone. Thank you Dan!

I cannot recommend Dan at South West Carpentry highly enough! He is a true craftsman who has transformed my sketches into objects of true functional beauty. He is a diligent and hard working individual who has an exceptional eye for detail and someone who takes immense pride in his work. We have had him work on multiple projects on our house in Bath including many challenging and bespoke items such as our kitchen island, custom office furniture, inbuilt wardrobes, door fitting, shelving to name a few. On a human level he is a pleasure to work with and often going above and beyond on a project. As an architect I have a high expectation for what the end result will be and Dan has always delivered work of the utmost standard and care and excellence!
