These guys are great. Had struggled for a couple of years to find someone to improve our aging loft conversion including moving and replacing the staircase and remodelling the second floor. Luke worked off a sketch, responded quickly with a competitive quote. They turned up when they said they would, were clean tidy and respectful of our home whilst the work was going on. Fully signed off by SMBC on completion and the work is of a high standard with attention to detail. The result is stunning exactly what we were hoping for and more so wouldn???t hesitate to recommend. Luke and the team did a really good job and were really happy with the result!

Luke and the team have recently completed the renovation of our Hall, Stairs and Landing plus the replacement of all of our internal doors. It was a huge job which included all the 1930???s plaster/skirtings/architrave being removed including ceilings being taken down, rewiring, the removal of our unsafe stairs, the removal of our original hall cupboard, meter cupboard and understairs storage cupboard. Luke and the team then reboarded the walls and ceilings, plastered them and added new skirtings and architrave. Luke made a new hall coat cupboard and meter cupboard and installed a new oak and metal spindle staircase. A new storage cupboard was made under the stairs (access from kitchen) along with two understairs drawers fitted for shoe storage. We chose spotlights and had new sockets and switches installed. We completely underestimated the impact of having such a major job done (and that the Hall, Stairs and Landing effected every room in the house!) There were a couple of hitches along the way (needing a new fuse board, issues with the old house not being completely square and effecting door fitting etc plus extra door fitting to replace our other internal doors) causing the works to take longer than expected but every issue was addressed quickly, professionally and a solution found. As a result, we are over the moon with our new ???Hub of the house??? From the first call for a quote, Luke has been professional, punctual, friendly, honest and polite. All of the lads working for him along with the contracted electricians, plumber and plasterers were friendly, polite, hardworking and considerate ??? they all helped and guided us through the process every step of the way. Luke had some great ideas and was happy to talk through them and adjust to suit what we wanted to achieve for the best use of the space. We really appreciated his need for everything ???has to be right??? which means the finish on all the works is great and we are 100% confident in the work quality and know it will last for many years to come. A huge thank you to the whole team and I heartedly recommend Knight Carpentry & Building and will definitely be having them to help us with our future house projects.

Great experience working with Luke and his team. Each time I have engaged their services, I have found them to be reliable, professional, and exceptionally skilled in their workmanship. Their trustworthiness has always given me confidence in the quality of their work. I would not hesitate to recommend Luke and his team to anyone seeking dependable and high-quality service.

Luke Knight and his team worked with us and for us during our renovation to remove a PVC porch and rebuild as a brick frontage to the house. The downstairs WC was repositioned and a brand new utility installed using part of the garage. Old conservatory removed and rebuilt in brick to create one large reception lounge with velux windows. Beautiful herringbone flooring fitted throughout the downstairs and a new bespoke staircase with glass panels. Luke project managed all trades and time frame, answered all questions/concerns with a professional manner and also advised on day to day decision with the design. We would absolutely recommend Knight Building and Carpentry with any renovation or building work.

Luke and his team are great, couldn???t recommend enough. Great craftsmanship, built our kitchen quickly within our timeframe, tidy as they went along and even sorted out issues that arose throughout it the process.
