Excellent service! Matt was very professional and helped me fix my watch in a few minutes

Absolutely love Timpsons for so many reasons, but today I had a particularly good experience with them even by their high standards. I bought in a pair of boots 1st thing with corroded insoles. Rickey asked for me to leave them with him for 30 mins and lo and behold had them fixed with new leather insoles in no time. Thank you so much Rickey!

Had a quote for a replacement part for a watch and the part never appeared and the quoted cost was expensive. Went to a local watch repairer who did the work and more at cost price and had a nice chat with the repairman. Night and day it has to be said from Timpson's offering. Two stars is better than one !

Absolute scam. A change of watch battery that should have cost ??10 ended up costing ??62.95. The actual changing of the watch battery can be done in 3 steps. Unscrew watch case, swap battery, replace watch case. Did I know this at the time? No, I found out after speaking to a friend who knows watches. If they followed up with a resealing and pressure test, it would have cost AT MOST 30 quid. Let???s get to the heart of the matter here. A company that is willing to take advantage of its customers??? lack of information, is not a company that can be trusted. I went to Timpson???s on the assumption that as an established chain, it would offer fair value for standard services, as a professional would. For an upcharge of 53 quid (63 less 10), Timpson???s was willing to spit on the trust of its customers. That tells you everything you need to know about this company. On returning to the branch, Timpson???s refused to provide a receipt.
