Can???t speak highly enough of Maurice and his team at Penfield. They took up the horrible badly installed laminate decking that was at my house when I bought it and there was a heck of a lot of preparation needed before they could install my new lovely Millboard deck. They also rerendered my garden walls front and back and every stage of the job was organised so well with great communication and friendly respectful guys. I love my new look garden and highly recommend Penfield Construction.

Maurice and his team have just finished a large kitchen/diner renovation for us and we are really pleased with the result. It's just what we had in mind and has given us a great place to enjoy with family and friends. From the outset Maurice was easy to get hold of, responded quickly to messages and queries and kept us informed of any issues that arose, needing further attention. Our original plans and ideas had to be adjusted and adapted at times when the job got underway and it came down to the practical aspects. Maurice had the knowledge and experience to spend time with us exploring different ideas and options which in the end probably worked out better. Joe and Paul, from the team, did the majority of the work with Joe taking the lead on site. We were exceptionally happy with the quality of their work. They were informative, thorough, friendly and professional and a pleasure to have around. It felt that it was as important to them as it was to us, to achieve as good a finish as possible. A great job all round.

Maurice and his team are excellent builders; good at what they do, great at keeping you informed about progress and checking with you regularly about how to sort out any unexpected problems that arise. Maurice provides comprehensive quotes and lets you know straight away if anything has changed due to unexpected problems etc. I was at home on my own with a young baby throughout the work and they were always very considerate about this; keeping me informed about who would be coming to the house and when. Maurice even stayed late on a Friday to help take a delivery of heavy doors which I really was very grateful for, as I couldn???t have done it on my own. A very professional team, hardworking, tidy and polite. Five stars!

Maurice arranged for Chris to fix a badly damaged door frame so that a new lock could be fitted. I???m so grateful that they were willing to take on such a small job and at very short notice. I was very impressed with their professionalism and the quality of the work completed, and would definitely recommend!

Maurice & Tom did a stellar job of making me a belt & braces shed from scratch! Maurice got me a quote put together very quickly and helped me value engineer (due to prices of materials being crazy) the design and was still able to provide me with an extremely sturdy shed, 10X better than the off the shelf shed direct flat pack paper thin sheds. Maurice was attentive to what I required from the shed and recommended the use of breathable roofing felt to allow the moisture in the air to escape and stay out also, as I needed to manage the moisture levels for what I am storing. Very friendly, polite & profeessional. Would recommend to anyone
