I can???t praise Thatchers Builders enough for the amazing job they did on my recent renovation ??? creating an open-plan kitchen and dining room, and adding a WC under the stairs. From the very start, they were professional, organised, and genuinely lovely to work with. They coordinated all the trades seamlessly, making the whole process smooth and stress-free. What really stood out was how honest and straightforward they were with their advice, helping me make sensible decisions that balanced practicality with my Pinterest dreams. Even when there were delays from suppliers, the team were flexible and accommodating, always finding ways to keep things moving. Everything has been finished to a really high standard, and they turned what could have been a stressful renovation into an enjoyable experience. I???m absolutely thrilled with the result!

Ray and his team were fantastic! We changed the layout of the downstairs part of our house, by creating a kitchen diner and reconfiguring our lounge. Ray took time to understand our requirements and had a great team who were very skilled and friendly, who always took care to tidy up each evening. We are delighted with the end result and would definitely recommend Ray and his team.

Ray completed a significant project for us - garage conversion and front extension, remodelling of downstairs, garden works, new bathrooms and bedrooms - almost our entire house! Throughout the project Ray kept us calm and worked with us to make sure everything we wanted to achieve was taken care of. His motto is ???anything can be done!??? Ray and his team were a big part of our life for almost a year, shout out to Lewis in particular for being a constant and making sure all the details were finished. Thank you Ray for taking on our project and for helping us achieve our vision!

Ray and his team (Darren and Ricky) have been absolutely amazing to work with. Ray has a calm, professional demeanor, and his team???s work ethic is second to none! He always stuck to the original budget, and any extras we incurred into (like unexpected blocked pipes or blown plaster) were always agreed upon beforehand. Communication was seamless. Everyone arrived promptly at 8 o???clock every morning, and they did an impeccable job throughout the house. A special shout-out to Darren for putting up with all my requests in 30-degree heat???and for completing my bathroom with such incredible attention to detail!! We are absolutely thrilled with Thatchers Builders. Once you find a company this trustworthy, you???ll never want to let them go! We will surely use them again in the future!l Thomas and Annalisa - London

We used Thatcher builders to undertake a single-story rear extension, new patio, new kitchen, 2 new bathrooms and refurbishment of the rest of the house. Ray???s quote was competitive and the project came in at the expected cost in the anticipated timeframe. We are absolutely delighted with the end result and would highly recommend Ray and his team to anyone looking to undertake similar work. Ray is very relaxed/patient and makes you feel like nothing is a problem. Communication is straightforward and he???s very up front about any extra costs. Ray???s team (especially Lewis and Billy) are absolutely fantastic. We lived in the house - with two young children - for most of the work and they all made this as easy as it could be. We wouldn???t hesitate to book Thatchers again in the future and would happily recommend them to others. Thank you Ray and team for being so hardworking, trustworthy, reliable and considerate!
