Step & Co Ltd made my guttering headache disappear. Patrick has a reassuring calm about him and efficiently booked in a date to carry out the works. He turned up promptly with an impressive range of ladders and equipment and swiftly set to work. He got the job done super quick bringing much relief. Patrick is very personable and accommodating and was happy to help out with decommissioning an unsightly wire hanging down outside our upstairs window which we had been putting up with for years as couldn???t get to it. Patrick???s capacity to ???think on his feet??? combined with a wealth of building and maintenance knowledge meant he intuitively knew the best solution to sort out an awkward problem. He was very considerate of my property moving things around carefully to access what he needed. Like magic he even tidied up at the end without prompting. His fees are very fair and competitive. I am one happy customer and would not hesitate to recommend Step & Co Ltd to anyone needing a good and reliable builder.

Cannot recommened Step & Co highly enough! Got in touch to check out our top floor room where the chimney had been removed as damp patches started showing up, they quickly came over had a look and checked outside to see if there was anything obvious. After approving the work they quickly arranged scaffolding and fixed the damaged areas letting water in before taking the scaffolding down. They were very easy to work with and quickly got the job done, very highly recommended!

We used PML Construction to remove a fireplace (removing existing fitting, capping off the gas supply, boarding up and rendering). PML responded to our initial inquiry promptly and provided a quote within a week of the site visit. The work was started on the agreed date and completed to a high standard. The site was left clean and tidy (difficult when part of the job involved sanding the walls). Highly recommended and we would definitely use again.

New roof; I wish to thank PML for their excellent management and repair of 2 roofs at my home. Well organised and swift to contact me when I needed them.

PML Construction did roof work for us. The work itself was done well (hopefully). However, the timing and communication is yet to be improved. The work started after the scaffolding has been for two months at the property. And the roof kept leaking all this time. Update as of 24.02.2020 with new discoveries of problems: The services your company has provided up until now has been of the worst possible quality: 1. You have delayed roof work without any reason for more than two months. 2. The wall you painted had to be repainted as the colour did not fit. You never agree with the owner or the tenant the colour. 3.You abandoned the scaffolding used for the roof works as it has not been collected since the time the work in the end of November. 4. You mismanaged communication on several occasions and never responds to any emails or letters requesting explanation or conflict resolution. For instance: - by giving last minute notice of erecting scaffolding ; - by blaming property managers for the delay in roof works and not responding to any communication and explaining the reasons why you could not find any time slot for minor roof repair during 2 months! - by misrepresenting the situation with access to the flat and straining the relationship with the tenant living there; - by never communicating and agreeing the details of the painting of interior; - never replying to the email asking for the information about the delay and its reasons, timing, guarantees and compensation; - never replying to the request to provide the details of your complaint handling procedure. I would never recommend this company.
