After Michael and Dave completed my rear extension 18 months ago, it was a no-brainer to ask them back when my main roof needed replacing and the back of the house needed repointing. Fortunately, and unsurprisingly, this experience closely mirrored the first. Everyone involved, especially Michael and Justin, was polite, professional, and kept me informed throughout. The work was completed quickly and to the high standard Michael clearly holds himself to. Without a doubt, if I need any more work done in the future, Michael will be the first person I contact.

I cannot recommend RKJ Builders highly enough. From our very first meeting, their honesty was refreshing; they set clear expectations immediately and didn???t promise things they couldn't deliver. Their expert knowledge was evident throughout the project, as they consistently offered various creative solutions to any problems that popped up, rather than just taking the easiest route. What really set RKJ apart was the care and respect they showed our property from Day 1. Construction works can often be chaotic, but this team was incredibly disciplined regarding cleanliness. I was particularly impressed during the demolition phase. They went above and beyond to ensure building dust was cleaned from other parts of the home, keeping disruption to an absolute minimum. They turned up when they said they would and worked hard. Most importantly, the quality of the end product is outstanding. The finish is flawless, and it is clear they take great pride in their craftsmanship. If you want a stress-free build and a fantastic result, look no further than RKJ Builders.

We had Michael, Dave and the rest of RKJ with us in late summer into autumn 2024 to drop the corner of our house and rebuild with large glass windows with a balcony on top. The overall quality of the work was excellent and finished off to our satisfaction. As always happens, we tweaked some minor things during the job but this was always no problem for the team. It was great having them about the place ??? we even missed them turning up every day after the job was finished! They are fine trustworthy builders and we would not hesitate in recommending them.

Michael and Dave finished our rear kitchen extension a few months ago, and we couldn???t be happier???not just with the final result but also with the professionalism and support they showed every step of the way. They were super reliable; if they said they???d be there, they were. They consistently looked for ways to save us money and shared their expert advice throughout. Even when unexpected extra work came up (more than once!), they handled it graciously and without ever making us feel uncomfortable for asking. A huge thank you to both of them???they made the whole experience so much smoother than we ever expected!

Mike and Dave were very impressive from the start of the project to build a dormer extension for a second bathroom. Their attention to detail was outstanding and the disturbance to our normal living was minimal. They were very friendly and helpful at all stages. We are delighted with the finished product and would have no hesitation in recommending them to any prospective client.
