We had Mendip Construction build an extension on our house this year and replaster and repaint a lot of our house which needed some serious TLC. I cannot express how pleased I have been with their work and I'm so glad we chose to go with them. we lived in the house whilst the extension was going on, with 2 young kids and Dale and Grant and the team made sure that the work was done so we could still live there, and it was safe for the kids. any issues, or questions were always communicated and I resolved quickly. whenever I wanted to talk about the build, I was always able to have a talk that day or speak to them on site. when we wanted extra work done, this was worked into the plan and at a reasonable price. the quality of work is really good, and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. i was also very pleased with the subcontractors they recommended, and they were good at managing the various trades to come to our house when required, with minimal input on our part. I would highly recommend them as builders, they clearly had a lot of experience, were very professional and took pride in doing a good job.

Mendip construction completed for us a rear single extension, built a new garage and converted our existing garage. They also built a retaining wall in order to level our garden, so a four-stage project. From the outset, Dale, Grant and the team were friendly and professional. The team are a happy bunch and were a pleasure to have on our property. They were considerate the whole time even making sure we were warm enough over the Christmas break when we had no rear wall! The work was mostly completed within their predicted timescale, which was 9 months for our project. All the work completed was finished to a high standard. We have had several positive comments on the brickwork and now notice other extensions where the quality is not as good as Barry's! If there were any problems during the build, they were dealt with straight away. We are so thrilled with the work they have completed and the extra space we have gained. We have no hesitation in recommending them.

We worked with Dale and Grant at Mendip on a ground floor extension and were impressed throughout the process from the initial discussion through to final handover. Their team were professional, efficient, polite and their work was of a high standard. We chose Mendip as they were transparent and highly communicative. This was an essential characteristic for anyone we were going to work with and was evident throughout particularly with regards estimating and final invoices.

Mendip Construction were great to work with on the build of my new house. I met a number of building companies when looking to assign a main contractor for the build of my new detached house, and from the first time I met with Dale and Grant I knew they were the right people to work with on my project, I felt I could trust them and they'd deliver a successful project for me. During the initial quoting phase they were really responsive at turning around quotes, and gave good honest advice on where I could achieve some savings and always tried to work within my budget. Mendip have an excellent team working with them and so the build process went really well. Any issues that were encountered during the build were dealt with in a professional manner, nothing was ever a major issue, we'd just talk through the problem and come up with a solution. I found this approach to be invaluable during what was a complex build project. Mendip also stayed focused on the project all that way through to completion of their contract, which ensured my new house was delivered within the required timescales. Anyone looking for a building company you can trust and rely upon, and want a friendly team of people on-site, then I would strongly recommend Mendip Construction.

Mendip Construction built a new garage for us in June and July 2023. The work was carried out well, efficiently and to a very good standard. All the personnel on site were friendly, efficient and competent.
