An update on our house renovations since enjoying the new space created and completed by Meadowgrove in July 2025. March 2026 and it was time to have the bathrooms revitalised, they were very outdated and old fashioned. We ordered all the required items to complete the new layout and organised with Nick to begin the work mid March. Having used Nick and his team before we knew the renovations would be completed in the timeframe set out and the appearance is exactly how we imagined, if not better. ------------------------------ Having moved in July 2024 to a property which needed some modernisation, we embarked on a search for a builder to make our ideas a reality. We chose Meadowgrove Construction, after searching for local builders, researching websites, checking reviews and visiting two previous customers of Meadowgrove to view their projects and quality of work. We met with Nick several times to discuss our project, and he put us in touch with an architect he had worked with previously, from here we decided they were the best choice for us. Our project was to extend the rear of the house with a relatively small extension and incorporate the new space into the existing kitchen and dining room, extensively knocking 3 spaces into one. Due to the layout of the garden we also needed to push back an existing retaining wall to create a new recessed seating area. As a separate element we also wanted to remove an existing canopy porch, replacing this with an oak framed porch built onto a brick wall base. Nick and his team were always professional, helpful and gave suggestions to make our choices better throughout the build. They worked full days arriving generally by 8:00 and rarely leaving before 5:00. During our project any changes we wanted to make were met with a positive, no problem response and any additional costs were set out in writing so we could agree and progress. Meadowgrove have helped change a tired outdated house into a stunning new home with amazing kerbside appeal. The new oak framed porch and beautiful interior is admired by all that see it. We couldn???t have achieved this without Nick and his team and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to have a project put into reality. We wouldn???t hesitate to use them again for any further projects we might have.

Meadowgrove recommend: We are thrilled with the outstanding work Meadowgrove Builders did on our thatched cottage. Led by Nick, they expertly handled the renovation, fitting a beautiful new kitchen and two bathrooms and other smaller projects throughout the house. The attention to detail is exceptional ??? everything was finished to a superb standard and nothing was too much trouble. Nick's team is professional, tidy, and a delight to have around - there was no issues that they couldn't solve and this in itself is remarkable when dealing with an older, quirky property. They truly transformed our cottage. Excellent craftsmanship and service from start to finish. Highly recommend.

After seeing the amazing transformation Nick and his team were making on our neighbours house we approached him to have a conversation about our plans. We were looking to replace our conservatory with an extension but needed a professional opinion to help with our vision. Nick helped with this and it has turned out so much better than we could have imagined. All the team are so professional, polite, very good at what they do and friendly. Nick kept us informed at every stage and was really good at managing the whole project. We would not hesitate to use them again and would absolutely recommend them.

What can I say. Nick and his team were absolutely amazing from start to finish for the renovation and rebuild of Scarlett Cottage. When we tendered our build, we submitted details to 7 different firms and by far, Meadowgrove was the most proactive. Any questions we had, Nick was right back with a reply via phone or email and if it was complicated he would come out and explain to us. For us, Meadowgrove wasn't the cheapest, but was the best choice. The build process was smooth, they started on time and finished on time and on budget. If we wanted to make alternations or change specs, a revised quote was available for us the next day to approve or decline. The quality of the workmanship was second to none and we couldn't of asked for a better job. We've received numerous compliments from our Architect (Charles Manning) who stated Nick is the best builder he has ever worked with and friends and family on the quality of the work Meadowgrove done for us. If you are considering a renovation, or build project, don't hesitate to use Meadowgrove. We will certainly use Meadowgrove for our next project. We have just come to the end of our major house renovation, Meadowgrove did all the work and I couldn't recommend them enough. Aside from being really professional and responsive, the guys went out of their way to make sure our house could remain liveable throughout, and were always very considerate which we really appreciated as a family with 2 young children. We are also super happy with the end result and have been recommending Nick and his team to anyone needing reliable and professional builders.
