A Traditional Locksmith with security paraphernalia, keys, locks and more. A go to local resource. It???s like stepping back in time as you enter the shop full to the brim of stuff. I???ve bought additional and replacement keys of all types over the years. This time it was a couple of brass door handles. The last two in stock of an old product that matched my requirement perfectly. It involved a bit of a search, but they were found. With quality superior to many produced now (and a bit cheaper) I was delighted that I???d thought to go to B & S. Well Done and Thank You. 10/10

At Donaldson's Vets we always use B&S for our key cutting etc and cannot fault the service. Friendly, local and reasonably priced.

Everything started off well, I recently had a new key and FOB made for my vehicle because the original stopped working. We lost the new key, so we called another locksmith (our first mistake). When we locked our car, we used the FOB and the alarm was set. B from B & S shows up and unlocks the car(thank you), and proceeds to cut a new key from our original key. After he attempted programming the key, he charged top dollar for the key and says it will not program. Now our trunk will not open, the two back doors will not unlock and the doors are unusable. So how did the front doors get unlocked but the back doors cannot? Why does the trunk not open at all. We asked simple questions like did you make sure the battery in the key FOB were good, and he says he did test them... But he didn't . If I did work for a customer and ran into an issue, I would have called the shop or a colleague and troubleshot the situation. The car was fine and now I have to keep the windows down when I park the car and I can't use any of the three other doors. Save your money and hire a pro, or request that B from B&S Locksmith not touch your car and book with S, he seems to have a lot of positive reviews. All in all, even if the outcome was not what we intended, the customer service is what let us down. I would never leave a customer who just forked ~$500 stranded trying to figure out how to get her gas door open after I just worked on it. I would have tested the car locks prior to working on it as well. Call a real locksmith, trust me our car was just programmed two weeks prior.

Fantastic service and price. I had a dodgy fob and was locked out of my van and my key was so worn it wouldn???t activate the locks (old van absolute nightmare). Michael drove the few miles to me and managed to gain entry without damage via the lock and then swapped the components from my old genuine Ford fob which was broken into an aftermarket fob I???d bought online then recoded it which worked perfect, the next day I called at his shop to collect a new key he???d cut for me and he fitted my old genuine Ford transponder into that key which works perfectly, saved my weekend as I needed the van for work and all for well below ??100! It???s a month later now and I???m late leaving this feedback but everything is still working fine. Brilliant customer service and great job done quickly, needless to say I won???t be using anyone else for keys or locks in future.
