AVOID!! Quite saddened to be writing this review and interested to see that others have had a similar negative experience??? I Had Darran out to replace my guttering, cap off facia and repair some slate roof tiles. He was friendly at first and the quote he gave was much lower than others. He also didn???t need any scaffolding and came to do my job promptly. Unfortunately the work has not been carried out correctly at all. The new guttering has not been properly joined to my neighbour???s guttering on our semi-detached property. Now it is constantly dripping and leaking, everytime it rains, making the wall damp. This is a serious issue and my neighbour keeps complaining. Furthermore, the guttering isn???t draining water at all and it instead seems to pool in the guttering and just pour down the front and back of my property too. NRC roofing claim they give a ???10 year warranty??? on their work but they haven???t acted on it??? All my calls, messages and emails are deliberately being ignored and I am left with shoddy guttering that needs complete replacement and repair! I didn???t want to write this review but I have been completely let down by Darran and his team. I have been trying for months to contact them. First they acknowledged the repair to be carried out, and after missing the appointment it???s now complete radio silence??? I am left with faulty guttering that needs to be replaced completely by another contractor. DO NOT USE NRC ROOFING. I will be going through the courts to get my money back and for breach of contract. I will also be reporting the matter to trading standards over the ???warranty??? they do not honour. Very disappointed

We paid ??560 in December for a new lead valley to fix a leak. The leak returned, and despite assurances that Darran would return to look at it on December 20th, it is now February with no return visit. After a month of no contact we got an email saying "We are currently reviewing why your correspondence was not responded to as it should have been." - not sure how 5 emails, 4 texts, 3 voicemails and a web form could all "accidentally" be ignored. Beware that the guarantee explained to you with your invoice isn't honoured. We now have other roofers refusing to work on it due to previous works done so are stuck with a leak.

I???m really surprised to be writing this given how good other reviews are. On 9th December I paid ??560 for work to replace a lead valley. The guys were friendly and did extra bits for me too like repointing. On 19th December the leak came back which I informed them of, and initially I got a really prompt response on 20th December about coming back out to fix it. Since 9th January I haven???t heard anything. I???ve called, texted, and emailed, so I know I???m being ignored on purpose. It has been 6 weeks since I informed NRC of the leak and still nothing. Now I have other roofers refusing to take on the work due to previous work done on it, so I'm stuck with a leak I can't fix. I???m now out ??560 with an active leak dripping through my bathroom ceiling into a bucket and damp plaster. This work came with a guarantee which has not been honoured, feeling scammed.

Darren did a first class job with a repair on our chimney. Arrived when he said he would, told us what he was doing and showed us pictures of the finished job. We are very happy customers.

I try to use local tradesmen whenever possible and I came across NRC Roof Services. They came out and found out where my problem lied and quoted me for the repair. The quote was lower than I anticipated and I asked them to carry out the repairs. They talked me through every stage of the repair and explained exactly what they were doing. After the work was completed they meticulously cleaned everything up. Several days later I discovered another leak in a different area of the roof and called them out again. They found the problem and offered to do the repair at no extra cost. I'd have no hesitation in using them again and recommending them to others. First class service.
