If I could grant 4.5 stars I would. We spent the better part of 2 months searching for quotes to refurbish our 27 year old roof from 15+ roofing companies for prices that wildly varied (10k pounds difference between the most cheapest and most expensive quotes offered!) for a roof of about ~150 square meters along with additional fascia board renewal of about ~180 square meters along with a hockey stick installation for future solar panel cable management that we plan to have. In the end we ended up narrowing down the options between 2 companies with Oakfield's quote being slightly cheaper and providing slightly longer lasting guarantee and insurance backed quote. So how did it go? Well I was expecting the experience to be slightly below average or just about average experience considering the price we paid but, we were surprised by the thoroughness and swiftness of the work done. Just for reference, the other companies noted that it would take them about 1 week to complete the works whilst Mitchell and his team managed to complete everything in 3 days. During the planning stages the response times between emails was very quick regarding legal paperwork confirmation and explanations for potential works improvements whilst other companies took usually more than a day to respond. Mitchell himself came around to also show us the SL 500 felting material that he would use and later sent us an example of a fascia board that he also wanted to use which we were happy with. Lastly it was also him being able to share some additional details regarding pricing (i.e. pounds per square meter for roofing work, fascia board replacement etc. though did not include labour costs) which no other company up to that had even wanted to a share when I asked. What about the works themselves? Well I certainly am satisfied as there aren't any faults, gaps, visible damage etc. though ultimately it will be up to the weather and age of time to test how well the works truly are. The only reason why I would only grant 4.5 stars is because, whilst everything else was excellent (i.e. great price, excellent customer service, openness regarding pricing, quickly finished works etc.) the only thing lacking was that the site wasn't thoroughly cleaned as I still found some small bits and pieces of leftover felting material, cut out fascia board and screws over the following days. That sole issue aside I would HIGHLY recommend this company if you are looking for some roofing work.

Mitch and the team did a fab job with our fascia and soffits which were in an advanced state of disrepair. We also had a very old shed with fairly advanced rot and deteriorated flashing. Mitch was on the case with the team with a full replacement and high quality finish on both the guttering and the shed in less than 2 days. While I hope I don't have any further issues with the roof (!) I wouldn't hesitate to get in touch with the team at Oakfield Flat Roofing again if I needed to use their services.

We had an excellent experience from start to finish with this roofing company. Mitchell responded to our initial enquiry regarding the garage roof incredibly quickly and arranged a site visit within a week. From the outset, he took the time to clearly and thoroughly explain the work required, both over the phone and in detailed emails. He was always happy to answer our questions and made sure we felt confident before moving forward. Once everything was agreed, work began the next day. Danny did a fantastic job completing all the wood framing and roof panels, and the whole project was wrapped up by lunchtime on the second day. The team worked quickly, efficiently, and with real professionalism throughout. They also left the site spotless, which we really appreciated. A big thank you to the entire team for such a smooth and high-quality job. If you???re looking for a new roof, I would highly recommend them!

*Absolutely wonderful, multi-generational Family business!* Its not often that I feel the need to leave reviews but Mitch, his brothers and the whole team were brilliant. We have an old Sixteenth Century listed property. Quirky to say the least but, nothing phased the guys. They were helpful, totally transparent and found cost effective but thoroughly workable solutions to deal with our challenging Kent peg tiled main roof and all the smaller sloping roof areas and chimney overhangs as well as, all the old guttering and downpipes. Their work was impressive, quick and to a really high standard. A wonderful experience overall. What is so rare (unfortunately). They turned up on time, worked hard all day and cleared up after themselves. Leaving the place spotless! Really made you feel that you got value for money and peace of mind too, as their work is guaranteed and I know that if I ever need any help again, I can rely on Mitch and the family team to deal with it. Would highly recommend this company. We have recently had some tiles replaced and new guttering. We also needed an inspection report for insurance purposes. From start to finish cannot fault the service. They are obviously experts in what they do and take the time to explain everything. Reliable, respectful honest guys. Will definitely use them again for all things roofing. Great company.
