I was actually recommended to John by another roofer, which is a testament in itself. After a roof issue, John took the time to properly investigate the problem rather than rushing into a quick fix. He kept me informed throughout, explained everything clearly, and returned several times to make sure everything was spot on. In a world where it’s hard to know who to trust, John was an absolute breath of fresh air. Honest, reliable, incredibly knowledgeable and takes real pride in his work. Nothing was too much trouble and he genuinely cared about getting the right result rather than the quickest one. A top man to boot and someone I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to family and friends.

We had a chimney cowling allowing rain to drip down our unused chimney. Rang John on Monday and he came the next day to look at the job and give us a quote. The following day he completed the job. Brilliant customer service. Very nice, professional man. Gave us lots of information and advice about our roof as a whole. Would definitely recommend to friends and family. 5 stars well deserved.

Couldn’t have wished for a better company to carry out works on my roof John & his team have fitted a bonding gutter, refelted, replaced guttering & repointed chimney. The work has been done to a very high standard. Would absolutely recommend this company, especially if you have a traditional slate roof. A genuine company who won’t rip you off.

I would definitely recommend JD Roofing to anyone. It took them one & half days. John Davis runs the business with some of his family. There were 7 working on the roof the first day and 5 working on the second day. Once completed, they also brushed up and removed all the rubbish. John organised the skips to be picked up and the scaffolding taken done, and the remaining ridge/roof tiles to be taken away. An excellent job was done on the roof, and John communicated all the time with dates and delivery of everything required, either by text , phone call, or email. Thank you to John and all his team. I have left John's name , email address, and contact details as well as photo. I couldn't have asked for a better company

I cannot thank John and his team enough. These lads had a mammoth task on their hands as this job required that John identified a number of problems caused by previous builders from out of town (cowboys in my opinion), strip the roof back to ensure that there were no fundamental issues or damage inflicted and then replace all existing work and current materials with the best new materials available. I discussed the situation with John before he began so he understood what was needed, and between us we decided on what work was to be completed. From the very first minute on the roof these boys went to town, getting the old mess completely removed and setting about laying top quality membrane, batons and tiles. To say they were well organised is a huge understatement. It was like having machines up there. By the end of day 1 I could already see the impact they'd had, with over 90% coverage already completed. Throughout the days they never faltered in their work commitment and John took me up several times to show me their progress as it happened. The end result is that my home now looks and feels like a new build, with absolutely all previous issues now a thing of the past. The pictures taken don't quite do his work justice, but all I can say is what a legend. I will recommend John and the lads to everyone I speak to, as I don't think his work can be beaten. Simply Superb. Thank you very much for sorting me out. Absolutely Delighted!
